I've told every artist that I deal with the exact same thing and have been for almost 20 years. When I actually started making beats it was important to me as a producer to just do what comes naturally and not be out here trying to jump on the latest wave or sound. In my mind, I have accomplished what I set out to do in the last few years in that regard. I'd rather be different and not have artists f**k with me as a producer, than to do/sound like what everybody else is doing so that people will f**k with me as a music producer. I know people watch/follow and I also know that I'm all original.
