Stafrænn Hákon´s 7th album was originally released in December of 2012 by the great Greek diy label sound in silence as a limited handmade CD cardboard.

Now 10 years later the album has been expanded with enhanced audio quality and 9 extra tracks. Only available in the digital format.

The extra track features an acoustic version of on of the bands live favorite "Klump". The remaining 8 extra songs are based on the ambient tracks like "Dufthani". Using sampled guitars, trombone and tuba.

2020 marked the rise of Vogor Records. It had been the output of Stafrænn Hákon since 2001 when his debut album was released.

However as things have evolved, we thought it would be worth the try and create a DIY hub for our friends and related artists to share their creations. We might have had too big of a plan in the first month of 2020 when we debuted our collaboration project simply titled "Vogor" and the album VOL I was the first release of 2020 for us. But despite those plans there is always 2021.

IN the works are albums by:
Stafrænn Hákon (their 12th full length and it´s a dark one)
Stafrænn Hákon ( Debut album anniversary edition on 3x vinyl)
Haugar (they continue to release every 2-3 months a song or 2)
Calder (4th full length)
Pulsa (Árni Þór´s new solo project)

and some more.. let´s hope we can get some more music out in 2021.

Our Newest addition to the Vogor family is the brand new band Haugar. Please check out their debut single. They are indeed heavily inspired by some lo-fi indie rock band like Wipers, early Dinosaur jr., early Sebadoh and Pavement, Archers of Loaf to namedrop a few :-). They are proud if it , so are we. More to come sooner than later...

Hello... we are Vogor Records. We are excited to present to you: Vogor - Vol I (yes, we know, very original). Released digitally on January 17th. We think it´s a pretty wonderful record. And there is darn good reason for that. It´s just us, playing our hearts out with bunch of other pretty great musicians. Simple stuff.

So stay tuned for this and we hope you'll like it. 2020 will see more Vogor releases by other great musicians playing their instruments with their hands.

Also we´d like to mention that we do everything ourselves, no interference from pro audio engineers or pro something else. Just people doing stuff together and collaborating like they should.

For example, a musician needs to record flute onto their track in the newly created Vogor studio. Well then he / she picks up a flute and plays it. Simple stuff.

Alright enough of inside information. Let´s just watch Friends season 17, episode 4 and relax for now.
