THE AFRICAN MAN

To smile even in pain,
To have a feeling of despair
But not to show it,
To never wail
Even when the house is on fire,
To sleep hungry
To save the children
In time of hunger.
To make sure children
Grow old well,
To find solutions
On every problem,
To adhere and reinforce
The laws of the clan.
To cry a times
But tears not to fill
Your thumbnails,
To smile at children
To give them hope,
To find a n rope
If the Wells rope is old,
To mine gold till your death
So as your children to enjoy.
To speak with respect
To the elderly,
To make a wisest decision
Because you are the community,
To build a better nation,
And not to submit
To the upcoming fe**om,
To follow the African morals,
To have a good wife
And beautiful children,
To make sure the land is green
And animals happy
For animals know you are a king,
And to appreciate the beauty
All is for an African man.

In the fadiing twilight
And the incoming promising dawn
The memories fade
And sores begin to heal
As we imagine of the great day
That is ahead of us
And how we will tackle it
But someone just spoils our dream
And make thr rest of the day wicked
Who is that so that we avoid them
A mood ruiner
Is nothing but a criminal
And must be send to where he belongs
The prison of ignoring them

We've made it our duty
We spit at ugly
Not knowing that soon
The beauty we appreciate
Will depreciate
And soon thaw away
Like how beautiful snow
Is thawing away
When climate changes
From favourable to adverse

He used to have
Bright children
He used to see
A bright future
In his children

Now the guru sits
Helplessly watching
His children being lost
Lost in the world of problems
He couldn't take it anymore

He cried
"O mighty ma*****na
Oh the glowing one
The perfect of the moonlight
I now salute you
I give you your adorations

You've snatched all my children
You've taken all the boys
Including the girls
How powerful you are
When you take
You never wanna leave

All my children
Had a brilliant future
But of you
All have turned thieves
Stealing from even their father
I prayed for them
But you ma*****na
You neutralised my prayers

You've made us
More than a third world
We can't understand ourselves
We are being exploited
