One year ago, 17 April 2017, marked the one year anniversary of God's calling of Laura Fields Taylor, AKA Mama T -- one of the kindness, sweetest, and most loving and lovable people to ever to walk the face of the Earth, home to Heaven. She never met a stranger -- only new friends. A true Southern Belle, even if the injured rugger played for the Krewe's opponent, she nonetheless went out to check on his condition, stop his bleeding (if he was bleeding), and made sure he safely made it off of the field. She was an angel here on Earth, and God must have known knew He needed another guardian angel to watch over all of the ruggers she had loved and cared for over her time here. However, at her young age of 51, we all wish God had let her stay here for a while longer. Mama T, it goes without saying how much we still love you, miss you, and are grateful for the time we shared with you through the years down here. I will re-share what I wrote in your honor, even though there are no words to express what a blessing you were to everyone you met and cared for in the way too short time we spent with you before flying to the angels. http://rugbywrapup.com/2017/05/laura-fields-taylor-mama-t-usa-rugby-south/
