The Shoei Hornet ADV is the successor to the popular Shoei Hornet DS. This motorcycle helmet has been specially developed for all-road riders who like to go on adventures. Suitable for any road, any terrain and any weather type. The helmet shell is made of different types of fiberglass and a resin ensures a rock-solid combination of these materials. By using 4 different sizes of helmet shells, the helmet is as light and small as possible in each size. The aerodynamic and easily removable sun visor of the Shoei Hornet ADV has been improved and, thanks to its 'scales', provides downforce at high speed, where other sun visors cause extra pressure on the neck. The ventilation of this helmet is of the highest quality. With 4 inlets, 6 outlets and the draft position, you always have enough fresh air in the helmet. The visor is wide and equipped with a Pinlock visor that runs over the entire visor. The lining is removable and made of very durable moisture and heat-wicking material and developed for intensive use. The Emergency quick release system ensures that the helmet can be easily removed in the event of an accident without putting too much strain on the neck. With the Scorpion EXO-Tech, Scorpion takes a completely new path. A system helmet where the chin piece can be completely moved back. This gives the helmet a cool appearance, which will mainly appeal to naked bike riders, but remains practical. When the chin piece is placed backwards, it disappears completely and does not catch any wind. The visor remains in place to protect the eyes against wind and other things. The helmet therefore has a double homologation. This means that it has been approved as both a full-face helmet and a jet helmet. The helmet comes in two shell sizes to provide the perfect fit without carrying unnecessary weight. Materials of the Scorpion Exo-Tech Evo The polycarbonate outer shell, together with the EPS inner shell, provides excellent protection. The choice of polycarbonate also ensures a very low weight of the entire helmet. This means you will not get a tired neck even on longer rides. The lining of the EVO-Tech is completely removable, antibacterial and quick-drying. The helmet is also suitable for glasses wearers due to the openings at the ears for the temples. Features of the Scorpion Exo-Tech Evo The EVO-Tech is equipped with a clear visor with Maxvision Pinlock. The ventilation on top and on the back of the helmet provides a cool and dry feeling while riding. The visor of the helmet has an Everclean anti-fog coating and is prepared for a Pinlock visor (available separately).
