The Universities Movie Festival for Youth & Children is an initiative launched in 2011 by UNICEF Egypt, in cooperation with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, in various Egyptian Universities hosting Mass Communication/Arts faculties to provide a suitable venue for young media calibres to demonstrate their creative ideas pertaining child rights and youth challenges while nurturing their knowledge and technical background about these issues.
