Hello all you bald and balding people! I’ve decided to end the podcast with many tears and a heavy heart, but also with a smile on my face (on its 3 year anniversary to boot)!

I have loved every single second of this part of my life and I will cherish it for many more years to come! You can listen to my goodbye message that I recorded as an episode on all streaming platforms 🎙️♥️

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving this podcast a chance, for listening, for supporting and engaging with everything that was created. Without all of you, I wouldn’t have had such an incredible experience with this show! This experience has truly been one for the books and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for it and all of you. Thank you 🥹

As for the show, I plan on leaving it where it is so people can still continue to listen and have a place to not feel alone. I will also keep the social media page here as well for anyone new to the hair loss community.

Hair loss can be a hard pill to swallow sometimes. We can get in our own heads where we judge ourselves and sometimes say unkind things out of frustration of the hair loss process/journey.

There are so many situations that we second guess because of how we look or even plans we’ll skip out on.

A lot of the time, when we’re in the thick of it, we forget to treat ourselves with love and respect. Many people don’t understand this part of hair loss so it’s a hard topic to bring up.

Here to remind you that some days you need to make yourself a priority and treat yourself accordingly! You are unique, beautiful, and capable of anything! Make sure you choose yourself every now and again ♥️

Happy Summer to all you bald and balding peeps! I wanted to hop on here and say that there’s going to be the smallest bit of change going forward for Those Bald Chicks as I navigate this and figure out how to put a close to TBC after almost 3 years!

It has been such a honor to be part of this podcast, meet all of you, have great conversations, and overall have some of the best connections since I went public with my alopecia 3 years ago. This show not only connected us to all of you but was a way we got to vent as well as learn so many things from you. I can’t thank you all enough for your support and love for this show for many years now ♥️

In regards to the podcast, I’m going to go down to one episode a month. I hope I can provide some good episodes leading up to the end of the year!

Hair-Apy will be the name of the “series”, but the name of the show/podcast will stay Those Bald Chicks. The original logo will stay the same everywhere as well. This picture is just for an update!

As things change a little over on this front, I want to say thank you again for listening and continuing to support this podcast. Couldn’t do it without all of you!

When it comes to hair loss, “perfection” can become your worst enemy. It makes your mind believe that if your wig isn’t laying perfect, your head wrap isn’t sitting perfect, or just timing and weather isn’t perfect, that chaos will ensue. It makes your mind race and think things that aren’t true.

We have all experienced this many times in our journey. But once you realize that perfection is quite impossible in all aspects of life and progress is actually what you’re after, it makes the journey much more appealing and less stressful ♥️ Be kind you your mind!
