It's a pleasure to be invited to the Intentional Parenting Summit and sharing a panel with phenomenal dads while discussing "The Evolving Role of Fathers in Modern Parenting." I'm excited to contribute to this important conversation and learn from fellow panelists as we explore the changing dynamics of parenting in today's world. It's an honor to be part of this event!

Being a good dad to my children is a top priority for me. I strive to provide unwavering love and support, ensuring they always know they are cherished. I'm there to listen to their concerns and encourage open communication, so they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings with me. I lead by example, showing them the importance of hard work, respect, and kindness. I celebrate their achievements and help them navigate life's challenges with patience and understanding. Above all, I aim to be a role model and guide, instilling the values and morals that will shape them into responsible, compassionate individuals.

As a father to my children, I believe in leading with love and setting a positive example. I'm present in their lives, participating in their activities, helping with homework, and spending quality time together. I understand the importance of fostering their self-esteem, so I encourage them to pursue their passions and dreams, instilling in them a sense of confidence. I'm dedicated to instilling strong values and morals in them, teaching them responsibility, empathy, and respect. I'm always there to support and guide them, no matter the circumstances, to help them grow into kind, responsible adults.

Responsibility and Reliability: What makes me a great dad is my dedication to fulfilling my responsibilities as a parent, providing for my children's basic needs and ensuring their safety. My children can rely on me when they need support.

Teaching Life Skills: I take an active role in teaching my children practical life skills, from basic tasks like cooking and cleaning to important values like empathy and resilience.

My name is Malusi Mapoma, and I am a single dad of seven wonderful children and a proud granddad to a beautiful granddaughter.

While I've always believed that being a parent is one of life's most important responsibilities, this nomination has filled my heart with gratitude. It's a powerful reminder that even in the daily challenges and joys of parenting, our efforts as fathers are noticed and appreciated.

Raising my children and now being blessed with a granddaughter has been the greatest journey of my life. Each day brings its own set of joys, laughter, and sometimes tears, but it's a journey I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. To be recognized in this way by someone means the world to me, and I can't thank them enough.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who have supported me throughout this incredible journey. The encouragement, love, and belief in me have been my pillars of strength. It's because of the support system I have I find the courage and determination to be the best father and grandfather I can be.

The Daddy Awards nomination is a wonderful reminder that parenthood is a collective effort. It's not just about one person but a community of support and love that surrounds us. I am deeply touched by this recognition, and I am excited to continue this journey of fatherhood, guided by the lessons of love, resilience, and family.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this nomination. It means more to me than words can express.
