Basira Press contributor Sondoss al Asaad raised the poster we designed with artist Mohammad Hamza of Bahraini political prisoner and opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman during the annual Arbaeen procession which marks 40 days since the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain (as) along with the majority of his family members and companions.

Arbaeen is a global march to establish the values that Hussain sacrificed his life for, which is divine justice and a world free of greed, gluttony, vice, deception, arrogance, and bloodshed. The situation in Bahrain is just one of many sad stories that shows how dark our world is and how much in need we are of this Hussaini transformation.

It is a big blessing for our poster art to be present among the tens of millions who are taking part in this record-breaking global gathering in Iraq.
