DJ From London Dj From London is the latest project from JJ (Festival Asylum and Porta Party creator) A mix of Afrobeat/s, Highlife, Cumbia, tribal, bashment, Techno and Jazz.

DJ From London is the latest project from Festival Asylum Curator and Porta Party creator JJ. Dj From London is a chance for JJ to showcase the music he has been heavily influenced by while working as a sound engineer on the UK festival scene. After 6 years working many events a favourite stage hosted by Tribe of Doris at Shambala Festival (Kou koos) shaped a new path as JJ started to take influe

nce from a more global perspective. Having spent 25 years playing to crowds all over the UK and Europe it was time to create a new persona and Dj From London was born. Playing an eclectic mix of Global Rhythms DJ From London showcases the best of all that feels good on the dancefloor. Dj From London uses a mixture of Vinyl and digital music as well as layering his own rhythms and beats over the top live via a portable DAW and MPC.
