The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam houses the largest collection of art works by Vincent van Gogh in the world.
After trying many jobs, Vincent van Gogh became an artist at the age of 27. He was self-thought, always looking for ways to improve his art. Vincent would probably never have believed how his creative career has changes the history of art forever. To his own sadness, his work wasn’t much appreciated at the time. He even sold only one painting during his lifetime, before he tragically passed away at the age of 37. He left all his artworks to his beloved brother Theo. If Vincent could only visit his own museum now!
