I have not posted here for a few weeks, because like everyone else, I have been focused on surviving and maintaining some semblance of sanity. I hope each one of you, your family, and friends, are still healthy and are hanging in there. My little friend who lives under the cabin, came out to feed last eve while I was doing the dishes. I shot this right through the kitchen window. This beautiful white coat is its winter coat and it will start to transition to brown when spring arrives and it takes ten weeks to transform. Their large, furry hind feet help them to move easily across the too of the snow. Thus their name - Snowshoe Rabbit.

One of the many wild visitors who hang out around the cabin. This young moose was headed for the creek for some water and a bite to eat a few days ago. This time of the year they munch on willow branches and other woody material.
