RUMOR: Arnold Schwarzenegger to Play a Vigilante Superhero in Netflix’s ‘Past Midnight’ Produced By The Russo Brothers.

A new casting grid with character breakdowns posted by Daniel Richtman suggests that Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator, True Lies, Predator) could be instead be taking that lead role of Frank Northcutt aka Midnight along with Wonder Woman/Star Trek actor Chris Pine wanted for the role of NYPD Detective Scott Mercer, as the pair of franchise actors are listed as potential casting additions. Arnold and Chris have yet to be confirmed for talks.

Back in 2018, it was reported by Deadline that Netflix and AGBO would team-up was developing a new type of vigilante superhero film with Dope director Rick Famuyiwa and a script from screenwriter T.J. Fixman. The Russo Brothers would also produce the project.

‘Tiger King’ Nabbed Over 34 Million U.S. Viewers in First 10 Days, Nielsen Says. The docuseries reached a U.S. TV audience of 34.3 unique viewers within the first 10 days of its release (March 20-29), according to Nielsen estimates. That topped season 2 of Netflix hit “Stranger Things,” which had 31.2 million unique viewers in its first 10 days, and was within shouting distance of “Stranger Things 3,” which drew 36.3 million over the comparable 10-day span, the measurement firm said.
