Beppu is the tourist city with the most hot springs in Japan . There are an estimated 2,849 hot springs, and there are 9 different types of hot springs, a world record number. Bathing in hot springs is said to bring many health benefits, and all tiredness seems to be relieved. It seems that nature is too favored for giving Beppu a hot spring paradise, causing millions of annual tourists to flock to this beautiful city.
