There’s always so much to think about when it comes to Instagram, but these 4 things are always good to remember.

✅ Be consistent because it takes time to reach your goal on Instagram, it's not just a post or reel and you are there. It takes lots of hard work to build your brand, just keep a plan and stick to it.⁠
⁠
✅ It's always about value, or else people will not keep coming back to you. People are your target, so always offer them what they want and need, give them a reason to share your profile around. ⁠
⁠
✅ Always follow the updates and stay simple, you could always deliver your messages in the simplest ways. Let it always be clear how they could buy your brand or reach out to you, don't make them get lost in the process. ⁠
⁠
✅ If you kept focusing on the numbers you'll never get closer to your community. Make them your target and let everything be for and about them, and they will keep supporting you all the time. ⁠

Of course, there are many many more things to remember about Instagram but I think that if you can keep the focus on these 4 things then you’re doing Instagram the right way. ⁠

The temptation to give up is a common one, and nobody is exempted. Failure isn't something many of us can handle gracefully. And even though we know it's a common human condition, we're somehow always surprised when it happens to us.

So, when the going gets tough, what do you do to keep going?

Here are my top 5 tips:

𝟏. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥.
Base it on your purpose, needs, and abilities. Know why you want this goal and how you and others will benefit.

𝟐. 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐦.
Expect good things. Keep a daily diary of good experiences.

𝟑. 𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.
Judge these against personal standards of self-improvements. Have the courage of your convictions. Don’t change for others or compare yourself with them.

𝟒. 𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.
Experiment with new ways of improving a product or service at work or other activities. Investigate how successful individuals or teams have achieved similar goals.

𝟓. 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲.
Hold your desired outcome firmly in your mind. See, smell, touch, and hear aspects of your goal. Each morning upon rising, review your goal. Repeat the process at night.

Reminding yourself that loss of hope is temporary and might just compel you to pick yourself up and move forward.

Acquiring a desired job or promotion or succeeding at a business may present challenges, but this is part of the learning process. Ultimately, individuals who persist, become successful. They learn from mistakes.

Just this recently, I was invited as a resource speaker at my uni. Cool, right? I am beyond grateful for the opportunity.

Never in my entire life dreamed of my professional career to be considered as, especially that these days, I'm no longer practicing my profession as a Human Resource practitioner. But thanks to those people who believed in me since day one. I can hear their silent cheers. And truth be told, you will always know and feel the real people who will always be there with you no matter what.

It's been six years since I finished my degree and half around that time, I spent my life making use of my profession. I enjoyed my previous career so much that it has given me time to grow professionally - career-wise, and even as a person. Two of my previous companies have molded me to be competent and become a visionary leader. There's just a lot of bits and pieces of realizations from that journey. Everything is golden.

Being a risk-taker as I am, I left my dear profession and took a leap of faith in becoming my own boss in the field of freelancing. Being a digital marketer today has given me a new room to grow, explore what's more in my capabilities, and has allowed me to be the best I can be.

How was I able to transition? Here are the things I can share:

𝟏. 𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐭.
The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment; it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone.

𝟐. 𝐁𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭.
It was the character that got us out of bed, the commitment that moved us into action, and the discipline that enabled us to follow through.

𝟑. 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡. 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
Make sure of your commitment to Jesus Christ, and seek to follow Him every day. Don't be swayed by the false values and goals of this world, but put Christ and His will first in everything you do.
