Protests at Ben Shaprio's speech at the University of Utah.
Here's a glimpse of some of the protests taking place at the University of Utah in response to Ben Shapiro's speech. A special thanks to Austin James Beus, a friend of The New Guards page, for providing these videos and pictures.
(7/7) An SJW administrator cautioned the protesters not to go outside, because the raucous people waiting patiently in line could turn rabid at any moment. He completely ignored the door 15 feet to his left that would have avoided the ticket line entirely.
(6/7) THE BEST ONE! First, the old tall guy wasn't with us, but the protesters insisted he was YAF's faculty adviser. Second, the police officer's differentiation between physical violence and "verbal violence, emotional violence, and psychological violence" fell on deaf ears. Finally, a young lady didn't like that I was filming, so she asked if I thought she was beautiful. When I said she was, her friend led her away and said, "That's a personal dilemma," which I'm pretty sure was an insult to her friend.
(5/7) The No Hate Wall, filled with such encouraging messages as "Drop buds, not bombs" and "You are Wonder Woman." Thanks!
(4/7) Sorry, this is the last one where I lost my mind and rotated after I'd started filming, I promise. The protesters found out that tickets were being given out despite their efforts.
(2/7) Some snowflakes camped out inside the building by the ticket distribution, so Young Americans for Freedom set up shop outside.
(1/7) Check out this line to get tickets for Ben Shapiro's visit to the University of Utah next week! We didn't anticipate this kind of a response, but it bodes well for the future of Utah politics!
