Award winning “Corona City: Voices from an Epicenter”, an anthology edited by Allendale resident, Lorraine Ash, was recently celebrated at the Boonton Books and Beyond Festival. Of the book’s 63 authors who wrote about their experiences during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the NJ/NY area, several appeared on the panel with Ms. Ash. William J. Burrows, Sue Farrar Dinetz, Darcey Doyle Gohring and Jean Sheff read their stories and answered questions from the audience alongside Ms. Ash. (Photos by Karen Fucito.) Other authors and creators for the book were there to show support. Proceeds of Corona City are used to feed the hungry in America. To date, proceeds have served 25,760 meals to the hungry, said Ms. Ash. In a turn of good fortune, she added, the Tony Robbins 1 Billion Meals Challenge has pledged to match every meal, bringing the total number to 51,520 meals served.
