A television interview can help give you and your business great exposure in front of your target audience and also help you to visually connect with your audience.

As your audience is able to see you, television can help you build trust and let people feel like they know you. Unlike other mediums, having an interview on television means your body language, dress, background and movement can all contribute to how you capture your audience’s attention.

To appear credible on television, you need to look and sound professional. Being interviewed on television can be intimidating, particularly if it is live. Having little room for mistakes can make you feel vulnerable and nervous, however it is important to work on your television interviews skills to help you make the most of a valuable opportunity.

One night, my mother and I had taken dad to hospital, normally at the PCEA Kikuyu Hospital or any hospital, you have to wait for about four hours for your dialysis patient to finish his dialysis.

This night, I could see my mother is now getting weary, worried about the future, since she had always been financially stable, and we were drowning our future on hospital bills.

She said, "Kang'ethe life has no satisfaction," and looked down in a sombre mood.

You see, she had always worked so hard to put me and my brother to school, good schools, she had worked so hard in life, and the time, we are about to become stable, a fatal illness arises, and she had to use her pension money to pay hefty hospital bills.

Before my dad was diagnosed with Kidney Failure, my mother had just received her pension money, and I was just starting my career in Journalism. One afternoon after a long chat about the new company I was joining, she asked me, "Why can't you do your masters now, now that I am stable and have the money to pay for you?" she asked.

At that time, I was busy rethinking about my career, what path to take. I was (I think I lost it, lol) a good singer, I had a band, and was planning on starting to record my own music.

I wasn't sure on what career path I wanted to take, either journalism or music, so I declined her offer then.

Six years later, I am here thinking about that statement. Life has no satisfaction.

You get a good job, but always praying for another, you open a business and open another one, you get married, and wonder whether life would be better with another person. You work so hard, and sometimes you never get rewarded for it.

It is the way life is.

The moment we accept the fact that, life keeps on asking, it's the moment we will begin to understand that THE CHASE WILL NEVER END.

You will begin to live more in the moment, to appreciate the little things, you will begin to be happy again.

The moment you see your dad helpless on a hospital bed, the moment you see pain and worry sucking out your mother's joy, is the time you will come to realise, nothing freaking matters.

That moment, you will begin to live on your own terms.

Do the things that make you happy. Be unapologetically you, let the world adjust.

Egypt’s Creative Crafts in Five Minutes YouTube channel is Africa’s highest-earning channel, with $8.7 million of revenue made since its launch in 2017. Algerian cooking YouTuber Oum Walid ($4.9m) and Nigerian comedian Mark Angel ($4.2m) are also among Africa’s most profitable channels. Surprisingly, RUS love in Action is Kenya’s all time top earning channel at $656,289.
