[ L'azienda filippina che "sfida" le supercar italiane: per avere un'auto ]

Aurelio bastano 27 mila euro A competere nel segmento delle supercar arriva anche l'auto "Made in Filippine". Il brand si chiama Aurelio ed è la prima azienda a produrre auto di lusso nel Paese. La sfida è il frutto del lavoro di tre fratelli. L'Aurelio ha due motorizzazioni: quello Honda B16A V-TEC (presente nella vecchia Honda Civic Si) e il motore turbo Mitsubishi 4G63T da 2,0 litri. Il motore Mitsubishi eroga fino a 457 cavalli e raggiunge una velocità massima di quasi 290 chilometri all'ora. L'azienda riesce a sfornare da sei a dieci esemplari all'anno. Al momento, l'Aurelio ha un prezzo di 1,6 milioni di peso filippini, ovvero 27 mila euro. Circa l'80% dei componenti dei veicoli provengono dalle Filippine tranne le ruote, la trasmissione, alcuni elemento delle sospensioni, dei freni e del motore. Su YouTube impazzano le recensioni delle supercar Aurelio e non tutte positive. Da alcuni è stata soprannominata la "Ferrari dei poveri".

SSC Tuatara
To reach 300 mph. That’s the target that Washington State–based SSC North America has for its new SSC Tuatara hypercar. To hit that mark, the carbon-fiber–bodied Tuatara—named after a spiny lizard found in New Zealand—carries a 5.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 packing a massive 1,726 hp.

Production has already kicked off with the goal to build 100 examples, each priced at $1.6 million. SSC isn’t new to the high-speed business. In 2007, its 1,287 hp Ultimate Aero clocked 256.14 mph. The record stood for three years before Bugatti’s Veyron Super Sports came along. But on January 17, 2021, the SSC Tuatara took the record back with two runs that averaged 282.9 mph, and the results were verified by Racelogic. More recently still, it officilly clocked 295 mph.
