Hi, this is Steve G. of Destination 70’s. If you’ve been listening this week, you will have noticed that we sounded different. Well, even though I did my best to keep the computer and its files backed up, on Monday morning the power supply in the 14 year old computer I use for Destination 70’s decided to pass from this world. I found a great guy from a neighboring town who was willing to help me out and get me going with a newly refurbished unit that works faster than ever. He migrated all the files onto this new unit. And we are back running....sort of. Without getting technical, the program that runs the station decided it too would take leave and I am therefore rebuilding from scratch the format and layout of the station. So, Thursday the 11th, it will be back to the music you’ve come to expect. The DJ’s (Fran, Rick, Kim, Hunter and Bill) are taking the day off. Hopefully they will be back on Friday. If not on Saturday. Thank you for your patience.

Destination 70's and Destination70s.com are running off the cloud currently. The computer that has served us faithfully since before the station was on the air in 2010 took its own life last night by blowing up its power supply. It was very sad to walk into the studio and be greeted by "no signal" this morning . I knew I didn't have to call the computer paramedics at 911. It lived a long life. HOWEVER!!! It's hard drive and mother board innards are awaiting a transplant to a new tower case and power supply. This may take a couple of days. We'll be back as quick as the computer surgeon can make the transplants and OK's the patient to return. Hang in there!

The music from the grooviest decade - the 70's! Over 10,000 tracks are in our library and we add more all the time.
