Uses:
1. A great green manure for a composting system
2. Freshly cut comfrey leaves make good mulch because they have high nitrogen
3. Used for treating inflammatory disorders such as arthritis, gout, and thrombophlebitis, and internally for treating diarrhea
4. Comfrey tea for upset stomach, ulcers, heavy menstrual periods, diarrhea, bloody urine, persistent cough, painful breathing (pleuritis), bronchitis, cancer, and chest pain (angina)
5. It is also used as a gargle for gum disease and sore throat.
