A little bit on how we got started...
Called to the Table began just like many other podcasts get their start. With an idea. You see, the team at CTTT have been friends for a number of years and each get together begins and ends pretty much the same way. It all starts with a phone call, or text depending on how you want to look at it, with an invitation to dinner. That dinner turns into games, usually a card game of some sort. And the night ends with us concluding on a deep conversation about anything and everything under the sun. At the beginning of their friendship, the team quickly learned how different they really were. Each coming from a different upbringing, different view point, education, career, and political standing. But at the end of the day, none of that mattered because the most important similarity they had, was their faith, love, and relationship with the Lord. They learned that God was utilizing their differences not for disagreements or arguments, but to build a community to bring around a table.
Now, its time to extend that community from the kitchen to you. The journey of “Called to the Table” may have only just begun, but every conversation is primed and ready. The phone is ringing, your invitation is waiting, will you join us at the table?
