Emergency: Nigeria Secret Police Plans To Infect Kanu With Tuberculosis

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that there are plans to infect him with tuberculosis. Kanu is being detained at the custody of the Department of State Services in Abuja over alleged running a proscribed group, jumping bail in 2017 and treason. He was illegally kidnapped in Kenya by the Nigerian agents and brought to Nigeria in 2021 without any legal process of extridiction. Nigeria breached international law crime of extraordinary rendition on Kanu and despite court rulings discharging him, the federal government has refused to release him disobeying the orders of the court.
Kanu made the allegation of exposing him to the dreaded bacteria infection through his special counsel, Barr Aloy Ejimakor. Ejimakor tweeted on Monday afternoon that, “Today, my associate, Barr Mandela, met with Onyendu at the DSS. “He reports that MNK directed me to make it public that he had an episode of profuse nose-bleed yesterday & that the DSS has transferred a detainee diagnosed with tuberculosis to his cell block. This is ominous.”

Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infection that usually attacks human lungs. It can also spread to other parts of the body, like brain and spine, and caused Mycobacterium tuberculosis, according to Webmed.com. Recall that on October 13, 2022 the Court of Appeal, sitting in Abuja, discharged and acquitted the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, of the 15-count terrorism charges brought against him by the federal government. The appellate court, in a unanimous decision, faulted the process through which Kanu was brought before the Federal High Court to answer to a 15-count terrorism charges.

The appeal court ruled that the arrest, abduction and subsequent arraignment of Kanu before a Federal High Court violated international convention on terrorism and, thus, robbed any court of law in Nigeria necessary jurisdiction to entertain the suit. Justice Adedotun Adefope-Okijie, who read the judgement of the three-man panel, noted that there was nowhere the federal government showed it complied with the procedures for the extradition of the IPOB leader from Kenya last year.

The appellate court listed the conditions, according to the Organisation of Africa Unity (OAU), which a state must meet to include a formal application for extradition to the host country, permission from court, and statement of the alleged offences in connection with the extradition request amongst others.

Benue: Fulani Herdsmen Kill 134,Silence Of Nigerians A National Disgrace - Rights Group Says

The recent spate of killings carried out by Fulani herdsmen in Benue State has left more than 134 people dead over the course of five days, across three local government areas. POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in response to these atrocities, the governor of the state, Samuel Ortom has issued a statement condemning the acts as “heinous and cowardly.” Despite the horrific events, Governor Ortom is urging the people of the state to remain calm and not take up arms against anyone.

He has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take action and ensure that those responsible for the killings are brought to justice. The governor has also asked the president to direct security agencies to step up efforts to end the violence. During a visit to the Mgbam community in Nyiev council ward of Guma Local Government Area, where 36 people were killed and over 40 were injured, Ortom reiterated his plea for assistance. He urged the president to do more than just offer condolences to the bereaved families and to take concrete action to stop the violence.

While Governor Ortom continues to appeal to the communities to remain law abiding, he also emphasises the need for vigilance in order to protect themselves from potential attacks. However, Pro-democracy group, Free Nigeria Movement, has described the killings in Benue State as a national disgrace. It said the government has failed in its innate task of providing security and welfare for citizens. It decried the seeming insensitivity of Nigerians to the killings and blamed the rising laxity for challenging fraud and illegality for the phenomenon.

Convener of the group, Dr. Moses Paul, who had earlier called for national day mourning in honour of the victims at a press conference in Abuja, spoke to newsmen at the end of the group’s strategic meeting today. According to him, “What is happening in Benue is shameful. Unfortunately, it appears Nigerians have gotten used to the killings hence the cold silence. “Why is there no national outcry? Even the media has since moved on from the story, same way they have abandoned Borno, returning only when there are ‘new’ deaths to report the numbers. The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday said recent events in Nigeria have shown that Igbos are not wanted in the country. IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, said the treatment being meted out to Igbos is unfair. Powerful lamented that security agencies allowed Shi’ites to protest peacefully but attacked its members in Aba, Abia State. Recently, several members of the indigenous people of Biafra protesting for Nnamdi Kanu’s release were reportedly killed in Aba by a combined security team. Powerful said in a statement that: “We are surprised that the Nigeria government and its security agencies, especially their army and police allowed the Shiite Islamic group who protested peacefully twice in Abuja to do so without humiliation or attack, but murdered IPOB members who were protesting peacefully in Aba, Abia State for asking for the unconditional release of their leader, KANU on the 31 March, 2023. “It is now on record that Ndigbo are not wanted in Nigeria due to the hatred shown to us. On the 30th of March, the members of the Islamic Shiite Movement of Nigeria, embarked on a peaceful protest around the Federal Secretariat, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria, to compel the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) to release the seized international passport of their leader -Sheik Ibrahim Elzakzaky, to enable him to travel out of the country for a medical treatment.

During this peaceful protest within the FCT, the combined team of the Nigeria Security Agents led by the Nigeria Police Force visited the protesters and peacefully dispersed the crowd with mere teargas, and nothing more. There were no casualties recorded, and no arrests were made. Today, the 6th day of April 2023, the members of the Islamic Shiites Movement of Nigeria again embarked on another peaceful protest within the FCT. And again, no arrests were made, and no casualties were recorded.
On the 3rd day of April 2023, members of the non-violent Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) staged a peaceful protest in Aba, Abia state to demand for the release of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is still being illegally and unconstitutionally detained in solitary confinement at the facility and dungeon of the Department of State Services (DSS), headquarters in Abuja, in violation of the Order of the Court of Appeal that directed that he should be unconditionally released from the DSS custody and should not be sued in any court in Nigeria again. We are calling on the American State Department, the UK government, its home office, the GTI group, and other reputable Western world institutions to observe the things that the Nigeria government is doing to Ndigbo in Nigeria. We ask that the world not blame us when we start to employ self-defense.

The members of IPOB who were peacefully protesting were brutally attacked by the same combined team of the Nigeria Security Agents led by the Nigeria Police Force. During the bloody attack on the non-violent and unarmed protesters, fifty (50) persons were gruesomely murdered in broad day light, and five dead bodies were confiscated by the Nigerian Security Agents. Over one hundred and fifty (150) persons were arrested and taken to an undisclosed location, and until today, they have not been seen. You will understand that the members of the Islamic Shiites Movement of Nigeria conducted their peaceful protest in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory and not even in Kaduna state. Yet, they were neither attacked nor gruesomely killed. Please recall that this group is still politically proscribed in Nigeria by the Nigeria government.

Unfortunately, for a similar peaceful protest, the non-violent members of IPOB were not dispersed with teargas but brutally attacked, killed, corpses confiscated, and harmless protesters arrested and taken to undisclosed locations. Where is fairness in this matter! Sadly and unfortunately, this goes to clearly reveal that there are different laws for different groups and nationalities in Nigeria. We are, therefore, calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria and other international bodies and communities especially Amnesty International and other reputable human rights organisations across the globe to wade into the recent genocidal massacre in Aba, Abia State and call Nigeria security agents to order. You must them direct for the immediate release of the corpses of those killed to their families for proper burial, as well as the immediate release of the 150 peaceful protesters arrested and taken away.

Breaking Emergency

Hello Friends just came out from DSS Headquarters Abuja where I went to visit Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with his Sister, when they brought MNK out from the solitary confinement facility where they kept him to the waiting room where I was waiting to see him. He was looking very tired and I asked to know how he was feeling, he complained of weakness of the body and chest pain and always feeling like vomiting. While we were still discussing he cut off our discussion and rushed into the toilet and started vomiting in my presence. I rushed in and held him for a while. He said that I should asked his sister who was waiting to come in to wait for a while because he needed to have a little rest before further discussion with anyone. I went out and narrated what happened to the DSS that brought him from the cell in the presence of his sister. There and then his sister started crying and I left because the time allotted to me has elapsed. Pls let federal government allow Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to have access to his own personal medical expert for his proper medical examination.

Peter Obi Should Be Arrested, Tinubu Must Be Sworn In – Northern Elders Make Demands.

A Coalition of Northern Elders has demanded the arrest of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi by security operatives.
This is as they insisted that nothing must stop the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria on May 29, 2023.

The coalition at the end of its meeting tagged the ‘Convention of Arewa Elders’ held at the Arewa House in Kaduna State, accused Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed of making inciteful statements capable of disrupting Nigeria’s democratic system.

According to the Arewa Elders in their communique which was read by the Chairman of Gamji Heritage, Alhaji Suleiman Usman Jere shortly after the meeting, Obi engaged in a very divisive ethnoreligious campaign during the 2023 elections and has continued to make threats and promote civil disobedience after losing in the February 25 presidential election.

According to them: “Particularly worrisome, are the pronouncements of Mr. Peter Obi and Mr. Datti Ahmed, the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of the Labour Party, as well as other Labour Party leaders including sources said to be linked to IPOB, ESN, which are known terrorist organisations.

“It is on record that Mr. Peter Obi engaged a very divisive ethno-religious campaign during the 2023 elections and has continued to brazenly display anti-democratic tendencies opting for civil disobedience and threats in place of constitutional means through the Courts.

“We are calling on all our security agencies to be alive to their responsibilities. It amounts to treason for anybody to call for truncating our democracy by whatever guises, be it Interim National Government let alone the call for a military coup. Perpetrators must be arrested and be brought to book with immediate effect!’’

Tinubu Must Be Sworn In
The coalition added that the North massively voted for Tinubu and will protect its votes in the interest of the nation.

“Elections have been held and the Winner has emerged. The people of the North massively voted for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in National interest.

‘’We are mindful of our voting and will stand firmly to protect our democracy. We remain committed to the May 29th swearing-in date in line with Nigeria’s constitutional provisions,’” the group said.

Interim Government Is Strange
On his part, Major General Mohammed Sani Saleh (rtd) said if it were military officers doing what Obi is doing currently, they would have been arrested.

He, therefore, asked for the same law to be applied against the LP candidate though he is a civilian.

He added that calls for an Interim National Government are strange to the constitution and must be resisted by well-meaning Nigerians.

According to him: “if it were to be military officers that have tried what He (Peter Obi) has done, they would have been arrested, detained and charged for the coup and if found guilty, they would be sentenced to death. Why should the case of civilians trying to truncate our democracy be different?

“The Nigerian Constitution must prevail, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu must be sworn in on the 29th May 2023. We do not know anything called Interim National Government, it has no basis and nobody has the statutory right to appoint any Interim National Government for this country. We have a constitution and we must do things by our constitution.’’

Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, (HURIWA), yesterday, expressed worries that Nigerian Security Agencies are misplacing their priority by confronting and killing unarmed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) while allowing Fulani terrorists in the North West and elements of the Boko Haram terrorists to continuously launch deadly attacks in the North West, Niger State of Nigeria, Adamawa in the North East and Kogi State. HURIWA also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of selective justice by spending taxpayers’ funds to rehabilitate and pardon hardened Boko Haram terrorists responsible for the killings of over 30,000 citizens including women and children, while the killings of totally unarmed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra who are asking for referendum in the South East of Nigeria persists.

HURIWA wondered why Security Agencies are fixated about a bunch of boys under the auspices of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and constantly dishing out warnings to deal with Igbo youths whereas Fulani terrorists are allowed to go on the rampage in parts of Northern Nigeria killing, maiming and destroying lives and properties including the kidnapping and killings of pastors and students in Kaduna and Kogi State. The Indigenous People of Biafra has urged Southern Nigerians and in particular the Igbo living outside the South-East to return home for the population census slated for May 3 to 5. The group said it was imperative for Igbo to be counted during the census in order to ascertain their actual population size, adding the opportunity would equally prove to the world that Igbo are not really, “a dot” in a circle. IPOB’s Director of Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, said this in a statement, on Wednesday.
