Interstellar Labs, is leading the way to develop agricultural systems to
supply astronauts & pioneers on the High Frontier. Her ground-based
company provides plant-based compounds to the world's leading cosmetics
companies. Her upcoming project is to place a rosebush on the Moon in
the late 2020s. Called "Little Prince," it's message will be of hope,
love & a signal that while some see us as plundering the Solar System,
some of us are going out to carry the seeds of life.

When Blue Origin announced their new space program would select a few civilians for a commercial launch, thousands of applications poured in. One of the few selected to become an astronaut was Dr. Eiman Jahangir, the 1st Iranian American man & 1st physician on a commercial space launch. Dr. Jahangir is also now part of The Space Revolution, as the next guest on Rick Tumlinson's ground-breaking show.

Rick & Dr. Jahangir discuss the doctor's fascinating life that began as an immigrant from Iran who was always fascinated by space. His dream of becoming an astronaut brought him to NASA with 2 finalist interviews for the Astronaut Candidate program & he was the medical officer for the Inclusion 1 mission at Biosphere2's Space Analog for the Moon & Mars (SAM).

His dream of adding astronaut to his long list of accomplishments was realized on August 29, 2024 with Blue Origin's NS-26 Mission.

The Navajo tribe recently sought to halt the US company Celestis from carrying out human burials on the Moon. We talk with Charlie Chafer, an old friend & owner of the company about this controversy, & the history of Celestis, a pioneering space funeral service & one of the oldest commercial space companies globally.

Since its inception in 1994 Celestis has launched hundreds of human remains into space, including notable figures like Dr. Gerard K. O'Neill, Sir Arthur Clark, & Gene Roddenberry as part of its mission of honoring individuals through celestial memorials, showcasing the intersection of technology, innovation, & reverence.

Charlie also discusses the "lost history of New Space." As a young member of the team that launched the 1st commercial rocket to enter space in 1981, he tells a fascinating story about the first breaths of an industry many think only started with the arrival of billionaires like Jeff Bezos & Elon Musk.
