Founded in early February of 2012, Serene Films has released four short films and has many future projects in the works. Vicariously, a drama about a suicidal young man trying to cope with tragedy, was the first of the four films to hit YouTube. Next came a special effects driven Western horror film called The Face of Existence about an infection spreading through a small town. Shortly after, Dism
antled, a psychological thriller dealing with paranoid schizophrenia was released. This is the longest film Serene Films has released so far, coming in at roughly 13 minutes. The next film released is called Waiting in the White Room, a drama focusing on life from a different perspective. This film was highlighted at the Campus Movie Festival at San Francisco State University before being released online. Our longest short is called Amaranthine, a horror film exploring demons from a psychological perspective. Our most current film, Sea of Trees (樹海) Jukai, is a Japanese horror short currently in the final processes of editing. Serene Films has worked hard to complete these films and will continue to work even harder to produce quality entertainment for the future. Follow us on Twitter:
