Lebanese Hiphop Star Nizar Zgheib, also known by his stage name ABS, got married yesterday Friday, June 7, 2024. ABS wed his longtime partner Perla in a grand ceremony attended by family and friends. The wedding took place in the rapper's hometown of Byblos (Jbeil), amidst an atmosphere filled with happiness and love as the rapper entered the "golden cage" and began his new journey.
The night was described as exceptional by guests, who shared joyful moments and sang with the bride and groom throughout the evening. The celebration was highlighted by everyone vibing to Nizar's famous track, "Ya Man," adding a special touch to the memorable event. Additionally, the atmosphere was full of love and laughter, with guests praising the couple's joy and the beautiful setting. Fans also shared footage and spread the love by posting stories on their Instagrams.

تزوّج نجم الهيب-هوب اللّبناني نزار زغيب، المعروف ايضاً ب (ا ب س) امس الجمعة، ٧ حزيران ٢٠٢٤. و اقترن ا ب س بشريكته منذ فترة طويلة بيرلا في حفل كبير حضره العائلة والأصدقاء. أقيم حفل الزفاف في مسقط رأس مغني الراب في جبيل، وسط أجواء مليئة بالسعادة والحب، حيث دخل مغني الراب "القفص الذهبي" وبدأ رحلته الجديدة. وصف الضيوف الليلة بأنها استثنائية، حيث شاركوا لحظات سعيدة وغنوا مع العروسين طوال الأمسية. وتخلل الحفل أنغام أغنية نزار الشهيرة "يا مان" التي أضافت لمسة خاصة إلى الحفل الذي لا ينسى.

PopArabia, the MENA-based music publisher and music rights consultancy is hiring Wissam Khodur, a.k.a. Eslam Jawaad as its Vice President, A&R and Acquisitions, the company announced Wednesday (July 5).
The exec and rapper will be based out of the United Arab Emirates and will report to PopArabia’s Founder and CEO, Hussain Yoosuf, a.k.a. Spek.
Most recently, Khodur was Spotify’s Head of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s Artist and Label Partnerships.
His CV also includes a stint as Executive Director at Quincy Jones’ G3 and Director of Special Projects at Ringz & Partners Entertainment, the company behind Wu Tang Clan’s single-copy album and NFT Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.
Khodur was credited as Co-Executive Producer on that album, which holds Guinness records for most valuable album as well as most valuable NFT. Khodur’s 2009 debut rap album, The Mammoth Tusk, is notable for its collaborations with Damon Albarn and De La Soul, along with Wu Tang Clan members RZA, GZA and Cilvaringz, among others. He has also lectured at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School.

Following the rumors of his return, Lbhiphop conducted a chat with Chris Ostoura and here is what he uncovered :

• When asked about his return to Lebanese rap, Ostoura revealed that after 8 years of absence, he's preparing a comeback with a new mindset and a new style. Chris elaborated by saying that he's working already with Joe Chamoun for the latter is working on shifting rap as we know it to a more commercial and inclusive art. Ostoura considers all of these factors liberating, and stated that it will help him perform with a new style. He also mentioned the possibility of him working with other artists as well, however nothing is planned yet. Chris's opinion on trap and autotune was firm by saying that he can't tolerate this kind of music, adding that he would never listen to such a type. Ostoura also stated that he's not following any rappers in today's scene therefore he didn't choose a successful rapper when asked for his opinion, his only connection to the current scene is when he stumbles upon a track on youtube only.
When asked about his opinion on disses, Chris Ostoura considered them as part of the Rap game and added that the important thing is that artists should be learning from this aspect of the game.
Chris ended the chat by hoping that the fans like his new project and was confident in saying "This is only the beginning"

Soapbass the DJ and Music Producer hosted yesterday Nizar Zgheib ( ABS ) and Anthony Samarany and it was an occasion to talk about music while DJ Soapbass was playing his tunes on a live set.
Soapbass is a Lebanese Artist, Music Producer, DJ & Founder of Polite As Fck Record Label. His music education started by taking classes in Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Funk & Rock.
By 2000, he was the bass guitarist of “ Soul Active “ in 2003. Soul Active won the pick FM’s “ Best Rock Song “ in the Middle East , and they were featured by National Television, Newspapers and were sponsored by radio one to record their full album. Will we witness a cooperation between these artists ?
