Martians come down to Earth and life changes for ever! What will Tom Cruise do? In the real world, life has also changed. Like the rest of the world we are getting used to a new way of life. This was our first podcast recorded remotely, and it might show a little. Stick with us as we get used to the new arrangement. Bec has been sick and has been thinking about experimenting with genetics to try to ensure that she will never be ill again. Luckily for her this weeks movie was Gattaca, a cautionary tale about just what could go wrong if we unravel the double helix of genetic engineering. Will she get better? Will she keep the DVD? Would Paul be able to pass VCE English?

This summer, something big is coming to Victoria.

We've just announced a mega sound stage to be built in Docklands, with two major films to be produced here too.

Dick Cook – the former Disney World steam train driver who worked his way up to chairman of Walt Disney Studios – will establish his studio's Asia-Pacific base in Victoria.

It will create 80 jobs during construction – and more than 1,500 cast and crew roles every year once production starts.

In a world where Victorian films are making their mark, we're embarking on a journey that will change everything.
