The First Ever Visit of the Pope to Mongolia! We join the celebration as part of the Good Shepherd Parish. Viva Il Papa!

Random conversations:

Yesterday, I needed to have a document translated. While waiting for the translation to finish I sat on the stairs in front of the building. After a few minutes, a guy tapped me on the back and tried to speak to me in Mongolian.

I tried my best to listen but then I told him I'm not Mongolian. He then started to talk to me in English. He was quite good and he began to tell me his story.

He told me that he is a bit drunk because he remembered his brother who died a few years ago. He told me that his brother was his "superman". "He was a very good man", he said. "He helped me with everything because he loved me", he said. After a few minutes i felt his pain as he almost cried sharing his story, I almost cried myself as I missed my own brother and sister.

He continued to talk to me and just let him talk while looking at his face. I thought i could help ease his pain even just by listening. A while after he started to tell me that he actually has a lot connections as he has been working with some big people for a while now and asked me if I needed anything. He said I can help you with what ever you need; food, accommodation, money even if you just need a friend. He said he felt drawn to me because I looked a bit like his brother and somehow that his spirit was in me. He wanted to provide me what his brother gave him before.

We talked for maybe 20 minutes sitting on the stairs. But I needed to go because I need to bring my document elsewhere. I asked for his name and his brother's so I can pray for them. Then he told me that he will pray for me to receive the graces of a good man like his brother.

I then held his hand to be as sincere as I can to tell him "peace be with you", then I went on ahead.

I hope I can teach my child to love his (future) siblings like this man. I pray that someday I can be as good a sibling to my sister and brother like this man's brother. To be there when needed and to love without needing anything in return.

His story reminded me of Jesus... May we also remember the love and care of OUR BROTHER who came to give and serve without wanting anything in return even until his death.

God bless!

We have a Story:

While walking to our Parish after our weekly bus ride :)...

I saw a sign for a massage 💆‍♂️ spot. I told Mama, "ow soon I'm going to go for a massage when all the things we are waiting for are settled".

A few seconds later a man came near us after he saw Alou in my arms as I carried him on our way. He came in front of us and suddenly asked to kiss the feet of my son. We did not know what to do, so I let him, knowing that I could protect my son whatever happens and he was wearing shoes anyways.

After kissing my son's foot he said something, Reggie recognized some words and said the man was saying well wishes for Alou. After that I felt at peace that the man had no ill will towards us. He also asked to see my wife's hand and said she is well and healthy. Again I was right there beside her all the while.

After my wife, he asked to see my hands. Then checked my legs, he kept saying that I should relax, he was then holding my calves then pressing up to my back. It was unexpected but I felt better, because I was actually a bit sore from my work out yesterday. He said some more well wishes saying he remembered his son after seeing Alou and walked ahead.

We were heading in the same way when he stopped and showed us his tattoo of his wife and child with a date. We then understood that he lost them and remembered them as he saw us. He started crying and apologizing for bothering us.

I suddenly felt his pain... I rushed to embrace this man while tears began to fall from my eyes... I don't completely know his story but I felt his pain at that moment. After this, we passed him as he went into his building after saying our goodbyes.

I can't imagine to lose my wife and child... how painful it must be to miss them and know that only in the next life can I see them. To live with the pain of losing the people you live for...

To be honest He was drunk but we felt how real what he saying was and the genuiness of his actions. We couldn't get his name because he rushed away after everything.

To you brother, father to father, I will take care of my family so you may remember the good times you had with yours. I will love my family so you could see a happy child, to make you smile and for you to remember the smile of your child. Know that we will pray for you, to gain peace in your heart.

PS. Thanks for the massage bro :) You are God's grace at the right time :)

Hugs, holding hands and being close to each other has always been our way of expressing our love for each other. This is because at most times we are apart and longing for warmth from an embrace. This is also because we both grew up with expressive love from our families that showed us how warm God's love is for us. Expressive love is what we have for each other and in Christ Jesus.

Real love is the love that directs us to love Jesus Christ. He is the source of the love we enjoy with our loved ones because his life is the love he gave so we can do the same.

May we love the way we want Jesus Christ to be loved.❤

Being in a long distance relationship for 8 years has taught us so much about hope. Hoping to see each other again, hoping to talk to each other again, hoping to be together again. It may seem tiring, but it was what kept us going.

When the times come that we are together, we know that the things we hoped for has come true. After a while, when we are again away from each other, we once again cling on to hope. This was our routine.

On our 9th year, our long distance relationship ends. We will get married and distance won't be a problem anymore. It was indeed a long journey but the gift of hoping got us through.

May we always hold on to hope realizing that time will come these will turn into realities. Bit until then, enjoy the journey.❤

He fetched me today and we went to mass early in the morning before we started our agenda for the day. We prayed together.

I have to admit, it was when our relationship started that I grew more spiritually. He led me closer to Jesus. And it was then that I knew he was God's gift to me.

You will know that God gave the relationship if it leads you closer to Him. If you are in that kind of blessing now, hold on to it and let it grow. Be holy together.❤

"Promises are meant to be broken." That's what they say. But we believe that "Promises said must be put to action."

In our relationship, we do not use the word "promise" that much. Not because we are afraid to break one, but because we just tend to act on it immediately. However, in our case today, the promise that we have for each other is a promise preparing us for a life lived together with Christ. And that is a promise that we are not only saying, but also doing.

May the promises we say not only be said but fulfilled because love, like faith, is shown through actions.
