The Holy Spirit spoke this with me this morning.
I just wanted to share it with you.
For some of us the devil almost just submits or lets us have Sunday and even Wednesday because for the most part some of us will usually put up a good fight to get to church.
So let’s say we were keeping score and the hours in a day =points. Remember there are 24 hrs in a day so that would equal out to a total of 168 hours or points for a week.
What would our weekly score look like?
Hours spent with God (US) vs Hours spent doing whatever (Them).
Let’s break down what Hours with God could look like
Personal Prayer & Devotion time
Studying the Word
Church attendance
Living a Holy Lifestyle
Sharing the Good News & Making Disciples
Let’s break down what Hours without God could look like
Operating in our Flesh
Doing what u want to do
Watching TV; listening to crazy music
Too much Social Media, etc.
Remember this was for me. I just shared it because it may help you or humble you like it did me.
So let’s look at our scores. We will break them into 3 parts.
US = Time with God;
THEM = Time spent in our Flesh
WORK = Job
SCORE
Scoring system (Hours = Points)
THEM= 125 points
WORK- 40 points
US- 3 points ( 2hrs on Sunday & 1 hr on Wed)
Aren’t you glad that God isn’t using this scoring system when it comes to determining our eternal destiny!
