Deep within the Storyforge, there’s a new tale being crafted.

For now, we’ll call it Project Splintered 🥀

This is a world where a strange power carves chasms in the earth, where souls are splintered into separation from the One who made them, and where all cry out to be made whole.

Step into the world of Project Splintered with me.

This week, the Library is resting.

Thanksgiving week is sacred. A time to slow down, give thanks, and be present with the people we love.

So I’m stepping back for a few days.

I’ll be back next week with big news about the Storysmiths and what’s coming in December. But for now, it’s time to rest.

I hope you’re doing the same. 💛🕯️

Happy Thanksgiving, dear reader. May your week be full of gratitude, warmth, and the people who make you feel at home.

You’re not just readers.

You’re a fellowship.

You show up. You write letters. You recommend books. You pray. You engage with the stories and with each other. You make this Library feel like home.

Thank you for being here. For caring about these stories. For believing that wonder and faith and epic tales still matter.

You make this work possible. And I’m so grateful.

In the comments: What’s a book community (online or in-person) that’s made you feel at home? A bookstagram account? A book club? A library? Tell me where you’ve found your people. 📚💛

The Storyforge is glowing.

Deep in the Library, past the reading nooks and beneath the Curator’s study, the fire burns hot.

Stories are being tested there. Refined. Shaped by flame and prayer.

And soon, I’ll need help.

In December, I’ll be calling on a fellowship of readers — the Storysmiths — to receive advance copies of upcoming releases, cover them in prayer, and help launch them into the world.

This means early access. Behind-the-scenes updates. A chance to be part of the story before anyone else.

Readers’ Guild members will hear the full announcement first.

If you’re not subscribed yet, link in bio.

More details coming soon. 🔥✨📖

November holds a special reminder to be grateful.

And today, I’m thinking about my reading life. The books that found me at exactly the right time. The authors whose words felt like they were written just for me. The stories that reminded me who I am when I’d forgotten.

I’m also filled with gratitude that my first two novels will be available again under my married name. More news soon!

So here’s what I want to know:

What are you grateful for in your reading life?

A book that changed everything? An author who perfectly expressed what you were feeling? A character who felt like a friend? A story that became a refuge?

Tell me in the comments. I want to celebrate it with you. 📚🕯️✨

The Readers’ Archive is open, and the Courier is ready to deliver your letters to the Library.

The shelves stretch long and quiet, waiting for more stories. More questions. More readers.

Here’s what I want you to know:

When you write to me, you’re not just sending a letter. You’re adding your voice to something that will outlast us both.

Future readers will walk through this Archive and see that you were here. That you cared. That you believed stories and slow things still matter.

So write to me.

Tell me about the book that changed your life. Ask me a question about the writing process. Send me the bookish art that you’ve been creating.

The Courier is waiting. And so am I. 🕯️📬

The Library’s address is in my bio.
