If you like watching cool things in the sky, be on the lookout for the Starlink satellites tonight! 🛰️ They were very visible and bright last night, and they will be tonight and tomorrow night too! The photos are the times/direction for tonight and tomorrow, and of the satellites from last night! They look like the ISS, and there are about 30 of them, all moving along together in a "train."

Scattered clusters of thunderstorms are expected throughout the day in Lower Michigan. While a thunderstorm could occur at any time, the greatest chance of a severe thunderstorm will be during the afternoon and evening. Pockets of damaging wind gusts are the main concern, but isolated large hail, a brief tornado, or localized flooding cannot be ruled out.

Possible severe storms tonight, 11pm or so. A bowing line of storms with strong winds will move across the lake this evening and impact our area. This is a *model run* of the storms, not a current radar. Expect to be put in a Severe Thunderstorm Watch tonight, and make sure anything outside that can get blown away is secured. 10 AM Mon July 4 (update): T-storms are expected in much of Lower Michigan tonight, mainly from 9 PM–5 AM. Some storms may produce damaging gusts and large hail (to 1”), along with locally heavy rain. Watch the weather this evening, especially if you have outdoor plans. Lightning is dangerous to anyone outdoors.

9:15 AM Mon, Jun 13: Thunderstorms are expected in Lower Michigan this afternoon and evening, mainly from 5 PM to midnight. Across southern Lower Michigan, these storms will pose a risk of destructive winds, isolated large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Additionally, areas of heavy rainfall may result in flooding, especially in urban and poor-drainage areas. Please stay weather-aware later today and into tonight.
