Tryouts for the San Diego Boardriders Surf team are happening tomorrow Saturday Dec 13th at San Fernarndo Ct. in Mission Beach from 8am to 12pm.

Next month the team will compete at Seaside Reef in their 1st competition against the other boardriders clubs in San Diego County.

There's a new board riders club in town. The San Diego Board Riders held their official launch party at OB Beans on Friday night. Here is a link to the online gallery. Tryouts will be held on Saturday December 13th, 2025 at San Fernando Ct in Mission Beach for age divisions.

Recently filming the USA Bodysurfing 2025 tour stop in Del Mar. New video - https://youtu.be/GLlgbNwvmWo?si=Auva4Ys7bZPEiPMN Was filming with pro surfer / bodysurfer Shayne McIntyre who was competing with his daughter Coral McIntyre as well. Surf was absolutely pumping for this contest with 4-6 foot faces and offshore winds all morning creating some hollow drainers. Got to meet the legend of bodysurfing, Mark Cunningham, this morning also. Who was competing and scoring some insane rides at 70 years old.

The Championship Tour schedule for the 2026 season. Looks like the pro surfers are going to have a nice long break in between the seasons. Sept until April of next year to get in a ton of surf trips. We can expect an absolute insane amount of surf films next year then.
