Bound to tradition, she has been waiting for him since he left her. Vidya meets Emraan Hashmi in one of his hotels, where she works as a floral arranger. Emraan falls in love with her. Emraan Hashmi tells Vidya about his mother, who was a cabaret singer and a single parent and how she fell in love with a man who tried to commit su***de for failing to save them from poverty. Vidya shuns his feeling
s saying that she belongs to someone else and leaves. Vidya meets Emraan Hashmi's mother on his request where she accepts Emraan Hashmi's love and both unite. They both spend romantic moments together. Emraan Hashmi gives a divorce paper to Vidya before dropping her home. Vidya then encounters Rajkumar at home, and tells him about Emraan Hashmi. Rajkumar then storms out in anger where he is arrested by the police and later jailed for being a wanted criminal. Vidya asks Emraan Hashmi to save Rajkumar as he is innocent. Emraan Hashmi tries to save Rajkumar by bribing the home minister who reveals that Rajkumar himself admitted to his crime. Vidya refuses to marry Emraan Hashmi because Rajkumar's action tells her that he sacrifices his life for them to be together. It is then revealed to Emraan Hashmi that Rajkumar deliberately accepts his crime so that Vidya will live in guilt as she will think Rajkumar sacrificed himself for their love. In order to free Vidya out of her guilt, Emraan Hashmi travels to Bastar where Rajkumar is accused of killing, to prove Rajkumar's innocence. Emraan Hashmi meets Father Dayal who explains what happened with the journalists and reveals Rajkumar's innocence. On the way back to Mumbai, Emraan Hashmi smells the scent of the same flowers which first caused him to meet Vidya. Following the scent, he goes into the jungle, not knowing that the place has mines. He accidentally steps on one of the mines. Realising his predicament, Emraan Hashmi smiles just before taking his foot off the mine. Vidya receives the news of Emraan Hashmi's death and is shattered.
