Patch Note 14/03
Dear Challengers,
Garena AOV will get the latest update on 14 March 2022 and make some adjustments regarding hero balance and bug fix to improve player experience.
Hero Balance Adjustment
īŧ1īŧPaine, Soul Elegy (NERFED)
Design background:
Paine performed strongly after the last overall optimization. Usually assassins should focus on killing single targets, but Paine's large-scale enhanced normal attack is too dangerous to non-primary targets, so we have weakened his passive damage to non-primary targets.
Specific Adjustments:
Passive: Soul Divide
The first enhanced normal attack after releasing the skill deals 1.75 times the damage: Applies to all targets along the way -> Only takes effect on the main target (other targets receive normal enhanced normal damage)
īŧ2īŧSlimz, The Trustworthy (NERFED)
Design background:
Itâs not very hard for Slimzâs first skill to hit at close range, but it can grant high acceleration benefits, so we weakened it.
In addition, we adjusted the stun gained when hitting a hero. Previously, the stun duration ranging from 1.75 to 2.5 seconds at the extreme distance was too abrupt. After this adjustment, the upper limit of the duration will be set at 2 seconds with balanced duration scaling.
Specific Adjustments:
Skill 1: Flying Spear
Movement speed bonus after hitting an enemy hero: 30%-80% -> 0-80%
Stun effect on enemy heroes: 0.5-2.5 seconds -> 0.5-2 seconds
īŧ3īŧElsu, The Soaring Falcon (NERFED)
Design background:
When Elsu is not within the opponent's vision, or when he is invisible, the warning red line of the second skill cannot be seen. From a good confrontation point of view, we didn't think such a design was reasonable, so we made some changes so that Elsu's visible cordon could be a means for opponents to fight him.
Specific Adjustments:
Skill 2: Snipe
The sniper cordon (the red target line) is visible in the opponentâs field of vision. (Note: In the older version, it will not be visible if the opponent doesnât have a clear field of vision (including during stealth)).
īŧ4īŧWisp, The Firecracker (NERFED)
Design background:
Wisp's passive allows her to overuse the red buffs, especially due to her high clearing efficiency, and it also causes her win rate as a jungler to exceed the standard. So, we limited the effect of her passive on jungle creeps, hoping to balance her power as a jungler.
Specific Adjustments:
Passive: Ignite
Added mechanic: Passive bonus magic damage does not apply to jungle creeps.
īŧ5īŧValhein, The Demon Hunter (BUFFED)
Design background:
Valhein's performance in the overall game phase is weak and needs to be cared for. The damage composition and functional effects of his passive enhanced darts are very complicated, and it is too much to understand, considering his position as a novice hero. This time, we have sorted out and simplified the damage structure and functionality of the enhanced darts, hoping to better help players in understanding and using him.
In addition, the overall damage has also been strengthened to solve the problem of insufficient damage output aspect. At the same time, by reducing the difficulty of passive stacking, the efficiency of Valheinâs acceleration is improved.
Specific Adjustments:
Passive: Pocket Glaive
Red Dart: 100+24/lv+0.7MP+1.0AD magic damage -> 160+30/lv+0.7MP magic damage and 1.0AD physical damage
Blue Dart: 75+9/lv+0.55MP+0.75AD magic damage, restores 20 HP and 5 mana -> 80+15/lv+0.55MP magic damage and 1.0AD physical damage, no longer restores 20 HP and 5 mana
Yellow Dart: 75+9/lv+0.55MP+0.75AD magic damage, stuns for 0.25 seconds -> 1.0AD physical damage, stuns for 0.5 seconds
Damage type structure: Deals pure magic damage -> Includes 1.0AD physical damage (can be crit) + the rest are magic damage (can not be crit)
Acceleration effect: 5% per stack, up to 6 stacks, each stack's effect lasts 2 seconds -> 7.5% per stack, up to 4 stacks, each stack's effect lasts 2.5 seconds
Skill 1: Bloody Hunt
Base Damage: 275+35/lv+1.0AD+1.0MP -> 300+40/lv+1.35AD+1.0MP
Cooldown: 9 (-0.4) seconds per level -> Fixed at 7 seconds
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that caused the Apocalypse/Loki's Curse/Frost Cape to deal two consecutive enhanced normal attacks.
Fixed a bug that caused the total charge distance of Raz's ultimate and Flicker's combo to be shorter than expected.
Fixed a bug that causes Thorne's first skill to have a very small probability of not being able to select magic bullets.
