Catch Wheeler’s debut preorder out on Traxsource now!
Wheeler del Torro's debut EP features three songs and started years ago with a conversation with Giorgio Moroder. Maurizio Clemente introduced the two when they were both working at Pacha in Ibiza. In between sets, they got to talking about his movie soundtrack for American Gi**lo. Wheeler told Giorgio how the soundtrack influenced his life and expanded the boundaries of his creativity.
Inspired by Giorgio Moroder and driven by these troubling times, Wheeler del Torro presents a soundtrack to the original motion picture 'A Natural Born Gambler' with three interpretations of his song 'I Want to Try Again'. This soundtrack is intended to amplify the work of Burt Williams: the writer, director, producer, and star of the movie.
The first song, I Want to Try Again, is a Wheeler del Torro original that offers a feast of percussive rhythms and haunting melodies to its listeners.
The second song features the intoxicating vocals of Nuzu Deep, who offers heartfelt, melancholy tones that beautifully glide over the hypnotizing backdrop.
The final song on the EP is remixed by FNX OMAR who offers his own organic, afrocentric interpretation.”
