I can’t imagine not having our wedding day film. From someone who has a kid that now asks to watch it, let me tell you. It is SO WORTH the cost.

This season is going to be a good one, and we are ready for it.   
  
We sure do love and appreciate all of you guys and just can't wait to get to know YOU! (our '23-'24 couples) So, here's a little bit about Jake + Syd:   
  
-Our favorite types of dates include going to get food somewhere.   
 
-Jake is OBSESSED with making homemade ice cream. (It is actually unreal. If IG had a way to share flavors, we would give you all some;)  
 
-Syd has been really into making sour dough. We made sour dough pizzas the other day and they were SO GOOD. Google Gordon Ramseys Homemade pizza sauce, make it and thank us later!  
 
-Our life doesn't just revolve around food haha we are so excited to spend time outdoors this summer and love camping, fishing, gardening, etc!  
 
-If we aren't filming we are probably playing with our sweetest little toddler Rhett man:)  
 
-Our current word is "straightway" we are trying our best to get up and do things, accomplish goals and move forward, but also continue straightway to follow Jesus Christ. He is a huge part of our lives.   
  
So grateful for all of you that we have met and filmed, and can't wait for this wedding season to really get started!!

I was 100% that kid. Ya know, the one that immediately started acting crazy, silly, etc. once I saw the camera on me? Yep. Even my parents can attest to it, and let me tell you somethin': while it is hilarious to look back on as an adult, I can assure you that isn't what you want for your wedding film. 
 
So here is your reminder not to stress it! Be you and the rest will come. It will be so much more enjoyable to watch your film and the moments that happened that day, without thinking 'okay why did I exaggerate that laugh, cry, etc" 
 
It will be worth it, I promise! And if you are looking for that kind of film, hit us up!!

🔎💍Let's bust a myth really quick:  
 
" A wedding film isn't an investment, it's just an added expense. " 
 
We live in an age where video is an extremely common way to document our lives. It shows real people and real moments and that is exactly what people want to remember on their wedding day. 
 
Truthfully these 3 examples above are only a few of the many reasons your wedding film should be an investment. 
 
We all get caught up in the wedding planning process and forget the why behind the money we are spending. So send this to a couple who is getting married soon, as a little reminder!

Best advice we can give to the groom? DON’T OVERTHINK IT!  
 
It is normal to feel nervous and not know how to react, but the more you stand there thinking about it, the less genuine your reaction will be when you see her.  
 
While waiting just think about her, and your love and excitement for the wedding. The rest will come naturally!

It's a big YES from us! If you are truly wanting your wedding film to tell the story of your big day then you NEED a few shots of you and your bridal party getting ready.

"We would love to film your wedding" I type this all the time it got me thinking. We actually get to be a part of the BIGGEST day of your life! As I responded to a few couples this morning, typing that phrase out each time, I wasn't just putting those words on there because 'that’s what we do'. We genuinely would LOVE to film your wedding. It is YOUR day and we are SO LUCKY to be a part of it. I will never type this phrase again without thinking about each individual couple, their love, and how special it is.
