Mbegu Films A series of short films educating, inspiring, and uniting communities in Tanzania and beyond Mbegu means seed in Swahili. Media in Tanzania is still young.

The films we make will be seeds:
creative seeds,
spiritual seeds,
family seeds,
community seeds,
Kingdom seeds. Because of this, we have an opportunity to engage our community with a vision of love, honesty, and responsibility. Through documentaries of faith becoming flesh, shorts revealing new perspectives, or simple tutorials on health and agriculture, we believe visual media can b

ring people closer to God while instilling a new understanding of the reconciliation planned for this world. We will train and empower Tanzanians involved in filming, acting and editing. Using dvd, cable television, and web based content we hope to spread these films as widely as possible. In addition to films designed to reach Tanzanians, we will also create media to assist American christians in being part of God’s mission in East Africa.
