The FV3805 is a British tier 9 self-propelled gun.

In 1947, the SPG development program was approved by the British government. Several variants based on the Centurion were proposed. One of them featured a 140-mm howitzer. Two prototypes were built in 1957. In 1960, development of the SPG was discontinued. The vehicle never saw service.

Work on the new heavy tank started in the U.K. in 1951. It was planned to provide for the armament interchangeability of the FV4201 Chieftain and the American T95 tanks (including turrets). The project was discontinued because of issues with crew training, as the members of the vehicle crew would have had to operate two different artillery and gun control systems at once.

In the summer of 1942, Waffenamt (the German Army Weapon Agency) concluded an agreement with the Krupp and Rheinmetall companies for designing a tank destroyer on the chassis of the Panther tank. It was planned to mount either the 128-mm K 43 gun or the 150-mm sFH 43 howitzer. The projects were designated Grille 12 and Grille 15, featured rear placement of the fighting compartment, and differed only in the artillery system type. Later, the Grille 15 received a 150-mm gun with a length of 63 calibers, which could pe*****te 200 mm of armor at 4,000 meters. However, development was slow, and the Grille 15 remained only in blueprints.

The Valiant, under General Staff specification A38, began as a candidate for an assault tank, with the thickest armour on the lowest possible weight, for use in the Far East. It was to be similar in intention to the 40-ton A33 Excelsior although far lighter. As the Valiant managed the same 114 mm frontal armour with only 27 tons, it managed to achieve its primary goal, but only by making unacceptable compromises elsewhere.[1] At a time when British tank design was already at its nadir, this "terrible price for the weight concession"[1] led to what is probably the worst British tank of the war.[1]

The design brief of December 1943 called for three prototypes of a small, heavily armoured tank for the Far East. Speed across open country was less important, as was performance against armour. Design work started with Vickers, but they soon passed it to Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon, then finally Ruston & Hornsby, who built the single prototype in 1944.[2] Vickers' original intention may have been to use parts of their Valentine infantry tank where possible,[3] but this did not survive the production choices of the other manufacturers, nor was the running gear of the far lighter Valentine compatible with the needs of such heavy armour. The largest point of commonality was the choice of engine, the 210 bhp General Motors 6004 two-stroke diesel, as used in later marks of Valentine.

Construction was like that of the Matilda infantry tank – large cast armour pieces bolted together. Suspension was by six equally sized wheels on each side, with independent wishbone suspension units for each, rather than bogies. Concern was expressed about the possible fragility of these units in combat, but Valiant was never taken seriously off-road to test them. The drivetrain was to the rear, from a 210 bhp diesel. This low power limited the tank to a predicted top speed of 12 mph, although this was still acceptable to both the infantry tank and assault tank concepts.

Following from the later Valentine VIII and XI models, the turret was to accept either the QF 6 pounder or the QF 75 mm, with space for a turret crew of three (commander, gunner, loader). This was achieved at the cost of a large heavy turret with near-vertical faces and a massive cast front face with distinctively prominent bolts. The mantlet was internal and a weak point against accurate fire at close range. Unlike the late model Valentines it had a co-axial machine-gun.

The Valiant's suspension was tested by the Fighting Vehicle Proving Establishment (FVPE) at Chertsey in May 1945. The first day gave minor problems and was abandoned after only 13 miles (21 km) of easy on-road driving. However, the driver was already exhausted by this time, finding that the steering levers needed his full weight to operate and that the seat, footbrake and gear lever all carried risk of physical injury in using them. The Officer in Charge decided to abandon the trials there and then as it was impossible and unsafe to continue, reporting that "in his view the entire project should be closed".[2] There were also issues with weight distribution and the ground clearance of only 9 inches, and by that point of the war there was no longer a need for the tank.[4] The Valiant project was terminated.

Thanks to brzic1901 for sharing this replay

The FV217 Badger is a British tier 10 tank destroyer.

A project for a tank destroyer based on the Conqueror chassis was developed in the late 1940s. Existed only in blueprints.

Replaced the FV215b (183) at the tier 10 position in the British Turretless Tank Destroyer line. The FV217 Badger shocks anyone who faces it (or reads its paper stats) with its listed insane frontal armor of 355mm. However, the 355mm of armor only exists around the gun, and the rest of its frontal armor is only around 210mm in thickness (and around 270mm at view spots). This may give the wrong impression though since the 210mm part of its armor is decently sloped (Similar to StuG III) which adds about another 90mm of armor resulting in 300mm+ on its upper frontal plate. It wields a nasty 123mm gun which provides the highest DPM in the game. Fighting this vehicle frontally is not advised.

Although it seems to be almost invincible from the front, The Badger doesn't have all-around protection like the Tortoise, even it was getting rid of "tumor" weakspot that hampering the effectiveness of AT brother's protection, it gained new and somewhat easier to hit weakspot at lower plate (which is harder to hide on flat terrain), its side and rear armor is noticeably weaker than that of the Tortoise. In addition its still lacking in mobility and flankers will have an easy time tearing this vehicle apart.

The FV217 Badger marks the end of its British tank destroyer line.

The M56 Scorpion is an American tier 7 premium tank destroyer.

The M56 SPG was intended to support airborne units as a light tank destroyer that could be transported by cargo planes or inserted by parachute or glider. The vehicle was mass produced from 1953 through 1959, but it was not popular and was soon replaced by the Sheridan light tank. The Scorpion was occasionally used to provide artillery support in Vietnam.

The M56 Scorpion was planned to be the first American TD in the premium shop and tech tree. But instead is a special/bundle premium that has been for sale about once a month on the NA sever. However, it was later added to in-game shop in 9.22 patch.

It is the true glass cannon with only 1mm of armor. So take extreme caution to not get spotted, as you will be focused on immediately. The M56 can be very fun to play if played right as a sniper at the start of a battle and a close support tank towards the end. The gun is very good, if a little finicky at times, and can still pen quite a few tier 9s frontally when you aim for weak spots. Overall it can be a very fun vehicle once one gets the hang of it.

The FV215b (183) is a British tier 10 premium turreted tank destroyer.

Project for a heavy SPG based on the Conqueror Mk II tank with a 183 mm gun and rear placement of the traversable turret and fighting compartment. The vehicle was designed to counter Soviet heavy tanks at long range (up to 1,829 m) and should have been able to withstand return fire from 122 mm guns at a distance of up to 500 m. After the development of 193 mm Malkara anti-tank rockets—which were a cheaper and more efficient choice for countering the IS-series tanks—the vehicle lost its relevance. The project was canceled shortly after a dummy vehicle was built.

Assault tank based on the Conqueror chassis with a 183mm gun mounted on it. The project was cancelled in the 1950s and it never saw military service.

Known as the "Death Star", this tank destroyer is well-known for its apocalyptic gun. Especially when loaded with premium shells, this monster is a death sentence to any tank and you must avoid frontal combat with this tank at all costs unless it's reloading.

As a downside, the FV215b (183) can only turn its turret 45 degrees either direction. The gun has a horrific load time and low ammo capacity, comparable to SPGs, and is not very accurate. So as long as you can outmaneuver its gun range you will be able to destroy it.

The FV215b (183) was replaced by the FV217 Badger turretless tank destroyer and became a special vehicle for those who had it before the replacement.

The AMX 13 90 is a French tier 9 light tank.

In the early 1960s, the 75-mm gun with a muzzle velocity of 1,000 m/s was deemed outdated. The vehicle received the new 90-mm F3 gun that used more powerful HEAT shells. This modernization did not require any significant changes to the turret or vehicle design. The first vehicles were manufactured in February, 1967. The existing vehicles underwent the gun modernization as well.

The Object 430U is a Soviet tier 10 medium tank.

The Object 430U is a version of the Object 430 medium tank with a rear placement of the engine-transmission compartment. This version was to feature a transverse placement of the engine and two planetary transmissions. This technical solution allowed for extending the interior space and decreasing the vehicle's weight. This vehicle was developed from 1953 through 1957 to replace the T-54, but the work was discontinued in favor of the Object 432 in 1961.

The Strv 103B is a Swedish tier 10 tank destroyer.

Developed from 1969 through 1971 as a modernization of the Strv 103. Unlike the previous Strv 103A version, the Strv 103B was equipped with a more powerful gas-turbine engine, laser rangefinder, and infrared devices. The vehicle also accommodated the mounting of amphibious add-on equipment. In 1970, 220 vehicles went into service. At the same time, the vehicles of the previous modification were converted to the Strv 103B, which resulted in a total of 290 vehicles by 1971.

The Stridsvagn 103B is the Final milestone of Swedish Tank Destroyer line as the real "Born-to-be" tank hunter. Although its characteristics are fairly similar to Strv 103-0, It has the third highest DPM in the game thanks to its powerful gun that is vastly improved from its predecessor. It can knock out even the Maus in one or two minutes.

If players can handle its hydraulic suspension controls and know who, when, and where to snipe, It will reward you nicely.

The Strv 103B marks the end of its Swedish tank destroyer line.
