Who’s watching the new and series ? is an amazing well thought out tale depicting the in the 50s during the nastiness of the Jim Crow south and the horrific times of aggregation in the south and in Chicago. And on top of all that they threw in a component to add even more twists and turns that leave you scared and afraid and wanting more each week.

Why I love it? - Cuz they made they have a rockstar cast of with a portrayed by . Not only do they battle and it’s atrocities in dealing with crooked cops, sundown towns and creating the along the way for their , but they also fight monsters and their estranged heritage that links them to slavery and the beginning of time. All while trying not to be oppressed, they maneuver challenges with a bit of hilarity and a whole lot of .

Why you might like it? - 1. The courageous are and take no s**t. They are fighting for , raising families and overcoming housing and workplace discrimination while surviving and . 2. The in this show are great and dealing with their own demons and beliefs around this time period. If you love () from , then you’ll love him in this show as a older dude who probably would benefit from some therapy but is attempting to work with his estranged son, Atticus. And who doesn’t love a good appearance who is Atticus’ uncle that raises him.

It’s a well done series that incorporates many of the scenarios that black people faced at that time and it makes you feel their angst through strong 🎥 and some damn good on the .
