Anyone who knows me musically will know how I like to funk things up, so in possibly the most inevitable move ever, I have created a new monthly playlist to indulge this. Superfly All Stars will feature 20 feel-good funky tracks each month, some new music, some classics, and some rarer stuff I've dug out on my travels. All intended to put a smile on your face and a strut in your step.

Thanks to some long-awaited changes at work, I now have a lot more life in my work-life balance. This has given me the opportunity to do what I love most, spend some time digging through records and updating my music collection. This means I can finally return to my long neglected project to share some music with you all. Im sorry its taken so long. Having been so busy for the last couple of years, One of the things I appreciate most in life are those times where you can just sit and chill with a coffee or a beer in hand. So I have created a playlist designed to soundtrack those moments. A walk on the mild side will feature 20 lovely mellow tracks each month and will be available on Spotify and YouTube Music and the first helping is up now for your listening pleasure. #ʟɪɴᴋɪɴʙɪᴏ

Apologies for being particularly s**t in updating this page. I'm currently working from home due to having COVID (again) and it has given me the opportunity to listen to some long forgotten albums to help pass the hours, including the massively underrated fourth album by The Chemical Brothers. With the exception of the amazing Star Guitar I don't feel like this record gets anywhere near the recognition it deserves. Every track is killer in its own right. So good in fact that I have added them all to the Pick n Mix Playlist (link in Bio and Comments) which I guess makes Come with Us the first Joyful Noise featured album. I will endeavour to feature a different album every month. while listening to the tracks individually is great, the album listening experience takes things to a whole new level so I have also included a link to the full album in the comments

I like this a lot. I also like my choice of Alarm song so much I quite often lay in bed and listen to all 7 minutes plus of it all, which sort of defeats the object. (Tune in Comments)

You may have noticed that there was no playlist update on Wednesday as normal. This was definitely not because I forgot, honest. However I have been putting together something a little different for this weekend anyway which is a combination of the last few weeks playlists plus some sweet musical treats perfect for this sunshine this weekend. This weekend in the UK a King gets crowned, but I think he's having enough fuss made of him so the first official Joyful Noise playlist is all about the Queens. 10 hours of music made by or featuring some of the very best in the business. As it's a Joyful Noise playlist you can expect a mixed bag of styles, some absolute classics, a few (not so) guilty pleasures and hopefully one or two you won't have heard before. This playlist proves that in music the female of the species can definitely be more killer than the male ❤️

Finally things are coming together nicely. The first Joyful Noise Playlist will be released on Friday 5th May... 10 hours of themed music just in time for the long weekend. I will also be curating a weekly 2 hour Spotify playlist which will be updated every Wednesday, based around what I have been treating my ears to that week.
