Recently renovated, the Intercontinental Perth is a great example of a convesion of a 1960s office building. Located in the West end of town a short walk from Kings Park, major theatres, shopping and galleries, this hotel is relatively well priced and well worth a stay.

Santorini is a popular Greek Island to visit but that doesnt make it any less beautiful, except for the places which are inundated with tourists, particularly those from cruise ships. Walk through Oia at sunset in the middle of July and you will bearly be able to move. The main part of the town, Thera is also popular but between the two destinations sits the village of Immerovigli, embedded within a steep hill overlooking the Caldera. It is a less popular place but equally as scenic.

NH+Murano+Review
Murano Island in Venice is about half an hour by water bus to the main island. Famous for it's glass blowing industry, it feels like the main island without the throngs of tourists. It also has some excellent hotels, including this one, NH Murano Villa.
I have become a big fan of the NH Hotel Brand over the last few years, for their newer, slicker version of luxury without the hefty price tag. They are often set within heritage buildings and the brand does a wonderful job of providing customers with an updated luxury experience while still retaining the old world charm of its heritage. NH Murano Villa does not dissapoint.
