When meeting a potential manager, it is crucial to ask as many questions as you can to make sure you’re the right fit.

When getting answers, carefully listen and investigate:

⭐️What are their core values? Do they align with yours?

⭐️ Do they match your list of needs for the manager?

⭐️ How do they speak about the artists they don’t work with anymore?

⭐️ Do their biggest achievements align with what you’d like to achieve?

⭐️ What vision do they propose for your music? Do you feel comfortable with that?

Throughout a few years in the industry I’ve had a chance to see managers do their job from the side.

I believe I have compiled a good amount of qualities and skills one should have to fully empower an artist.

1. Strategic – able to plan and think ahead.
2. Visionary – knows where your music belongs.
3. Diplomatic – finds a way to peace.
4. Proactive – does not need a nudge from an artist.
5. Supportive – knows when to stop and listen.

My name is EMI and I’m all about music! Music making, music marketing, music management, music events organizing are just some of the things I do.

I have decided to create a profile where I’ll share my musical journey, both as a manager and an artist. Will do my best to share useful tips and recourses for YOUR musical career (both as an artist or a manager).
