🇪🇬 Egypt is officially selected to host the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 that is taking place in November 2022.

■ Egypt co-chaired a coalition with the UK on climate adaptation and resilience at the UN Climate Action Summit. In 2019.
■It also hosted the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in 2018.
■Egypt is leading in continental efforts to combat climate change.
