🎸 A Father's Day Throwback 🎸

Tomorrow is Father's Day, and it has us reminiscing about the good old days. Do you remember those moments when your dad would play his favorite tunes, filling the house with music?

For me, it was the 70s, and my dad always had "Hotel California" by the Eagles on repeat. The way he played that iconic riff on his guitar, with such passion and love, made it our special father-child bonding time.

Music has a way of connecting generations, bringing back memories, and creating new ones. This Father's Day, let's celebrate those musical moments that made our childhoods special. Share your favorite song your dad used to play, and let's create a symphony of memories together.

Supporting Local Music: The True Cost of Creation

Recently, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek claimed that the "cost of creating content" is "close to zero." This statement has sparked significant backlash from musicians and fans, who argue that this perspective fails to acknowledge the substantial investments required to produce high-quality music. As someone who provides services to musicians, I understand the true costs involved.

Luckily, I don't rely on spotify for Income.... but if I did, I'd be pi**ed: they think the cost of your Music is 'close to zero'... is it?

The Murrells Inlet Leisure Friends put on an Amazing event Yesterday: The 10th Annual Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Contest, at The Wicked Tuna in The MarshWalk of Murrells Inlet. The event was in support of the Sea Beyond Foundation, whose mission is to protect oceans, waters, and beaches!

The weather was amazing, With music from The Goofy Footers and the The Hook Band.
