Director Roy Dorantes stumbled onto a cactus plant during shooting of a scene from Night Children Film Some of the large cactus spines painfully pierced his left hand when he tried to break the fall protecting the camera equipment he held. The house owner yelled, "Ay! My plants! My plants!" After the cactus spines were removed, the shooting continued.
