Such a great experience and message was sent out today. I was lucky to get to moderate a panel over "breaking the stereotypes of gaming" AKA fitness, nutrition, and mental health.
I feel we really reached some audience members, and all learned something.
What a great event and an amazing group of panelists.

Violet's baptism was great. We're lucky to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends. We're blessed to have the godparents we have and the overall support system that we do.

The beginning of a new journey.
We'll be expanding our influence onto a new streaming platform called Kick. Since identity theft isn't a joke around here, we had to make sure to secure the username Reaperofhugs.
I'll still be creating content here as well, but with the lack of communication in the Facebook Gaming platform, I'm going to begin expanding the community to there.

If you're a new streamer or looking to get into streaming, please keep an eye out for the toxic side of things.
Mainly, you shouldn't have to give any creator a certain number of stars/bits/subs for them to want to help you. It's common for content creators to work together in a beneficial way, but this shouldn't be one sided.
Paying a streamer to raid you also isn't a great idea. In many cases, it's a one off. This means that the viewers might hang out for that day, but will typically not be showing back up afterwards.
Viewbotting also isn't the answer. There's no reason to pay for fake views. It's just losing you money that could have been spent upgrading the quality of the stream.
Overall, many creators want to see others succeed and will offer free advice or help where we can. We're all out here just trying to have some fun and see some success.
Please stay aware that everything isn't always as good as it seems.

Reels were a good ride while they lasted. The reels program helped get Gina and I through our Maternity and Paternity leave as well without having to worry about finances (thankfully). FB and Instagram have been offering incentives with reels for some time now. Thanks to you all, it became a solid secondary source of income. Mainly, it didn't cost any money to support creators like Stars and Subscribing does. It instead relied on analytics through views and likes.
This was probably to compete with Tiktok.
With Tiktok having the ability to be banned from the US though, it looks like there's no longer any need to compete.
I'm thankful for all your help and support with the reels! I'll keep making them, but they'll probably be a little more infrequent.
This was my favorite incentive to have as a content creator, because it didn't cost the viewer any money at all and it supported all sorts of content creators.

Life has been good and chaotic! I haven't had much time for content creation, and that's perfectly fine.
I'm so lucky to have the wife and family that I do. Just look at this little nugget!
Gina is the best mom ever, too. I'm always so proud of her!
