On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, downtown Raleigh will come alive as over 80,000 people celebrate the New Year as part of the WRAL First Night Raleigh Celebration presented by Artsplosure .
Festivities begin with the early afternoon City Plaza outdoor musical performances and the Children’s Celebration at 2pm. Performances and activities will continue throughout the evening across multiple indoor venues throughout Downtown Raleigh. The night is capped off with music on the outdoor Main Stage, the famous Raleigh Acorn Drop, and a spectacular fireworks show.
Ticket Price: Tickets are $13.00 when purchased before 12/25. After 12/25, prices increase to $16.00 per person. Admission is free for children under the age of 5.

Event Hours: 2 PM to 12 Midnight

Location: Fayetteville Street and other locations in downtown Raleigh

The 80th Raleigh Christmas Parade is on November 23 at 9:30am ⛄❄
Start time:
- 9:30 A.M. can be viewed on ABC11
- 9:30 A.M. Street-Side in Downtown Raleigh
Parade Route:
- Begins on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street
- Proceeds to the State Capitol
- Turns right onto Salisbury St.
- Turns left onto Morgan St.
- Turns right onto Fayetteville St. and continues to Lenoir Street where it disbands
Length of Parade Route: Approximately 1.4 miles
Duration: The Parade will last about 2.5 hours.
The Raleigh Christmas Parade telecast airs live on ABC11 from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

Large groups of 7-14 this activity is for you! The @trolleypub.raleigh can hold up to 14 guests and takes you on a 2 hour bar tour of Raleigh. . Start the tour in the bottleshop and grab some drinks to take on the trolley (package includes 1 drink) and get a briefing on how the trolley operates and choose where you'd like to go to. . We picked @anchor.raleigh and @tinroofraleighnc for our 2 stops. And brought our drone to get videos and photos of the big group. . I was surprised how easy it was to pedal and liked that there are 4 seats you don't need to pedal at for those who just wanted to relax. . We got to choose our own music on board the trolley so we were working out and dancing. . Such a great thing to do with friends and explore the city! .
