☁️“While they were staring into heaven as He went up, suddenly two men stood with them in white clothing. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you keep standing here staring into heaven? This Yeshua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven.””
Acts 1:10-11 TLV
☁️ Today is an amazing day because it is the 40th day of the counting of the Omer. And it is on this day that Jesus ascended into heaven. I highly recommend that you take some time today to reflect on the entire passage of Acts chapter 1 as well at the end of each of the gospel so that you can see what Jesus was commissioning his disciples to do to go out into the world and make disciples of all nations. As we continue to get closer and closer to the feast of Shavuot, or Pentecost, we can take the time to reflect on how we were first given the Torah on Mount Sinai, and then given the power of the Holy Spirit on that same day thousands of years later. Praise Him who always provides!

🔁 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.””
Matthew 28:19-20 TLV
🔁 GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES! This is the pinnacle of what Jesus’ mission is for those who believe. There are many different ways we can go about this. So many people take this verse and think that means they have to go on a far away mission trip across the world…BUT our mission field can be our own community, our own neighborhood, our own families, and our own home! As a mom of two little ones my primary focus is to disciple my KIDS so that they come to know the Lord and CHOOSE to follow Him with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. Maybe you have cousins, aunts, uncles, or even parents or siblings that don’t believe in the message of the Gospel. Your mission work may be to pray for them and show them what it means to live in the light of Messiah. Just don’t forget to pray for the guidance of the Spirit! Our would is CRYING OUT and LOOKING FOR LIGHT! Let’s show them the light of Messiah Jesus and BE the light and make disciples of ALL nations!

🙏 ”Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.“
Colossians 4:2 TLV
🙏 Devotion to prayer…wowza this really hit home! I don’t know about y’all but praying with devotion is something that I struggled with (and still sometimes do) for a long time! Praying and devotion is not something that comes naturally. It is not something that comes easy. This is like a muscle that we have to exercise and build endurance with. You don’t just run a marathon randomly. You also can’t just pray and devotion on a random day. You have to put in the work. You have to put in the effort. It has to be a conscious decision on your part. This really really, really really hard, it is easy to get distracted from having small kids to social media to the busyness of day-to-day life, there’s just so much pulling at us. But we need to remember what is important for eternity: that our creator loves us and we are called to offer up praises in thanksgivings to Him. So take time every day to praise God. There is a beautiful tradition among Jewish people to praise God right as they wake up before they even put their feet down. They will say “I thank you, living and enduring king, for You have graciously returned my soul within me. Great is your faithfulness.” What a simple and easy way to praise God first thing! Let’s follow this example and be reminded to praise Him always.

🪻”Adonai your God is in your midst— a mighty Savior! He will delight over you with joy. He will quiet you with His love. He will dance for joy over you with singing.’“
Zephaniah 3:17 TLV
🪻 this #verseoftheday is powerful because it reminds us that even in times of grief and mourning, in times of stress and anxiety, in times of oppression and doubt—we can always find joy in Adonai our Creator. There’s been a lot of things going on in the world that can leave us feeling anxious 😬 that can leave us feeling defeated 😞 that can leave us feeling sad 😔 BUT GOD will delight over us with joy and quiet us with his love. We just have to remember that He is in control and that the loud and scary voices of hate 😤 the loud voices of persecution 😢 and the loud voices of oppression 🤬 don’t stand a chance against #jehovahjireh #raphah Rest in His love today and teach your kiddos how to do the same!

Can you believe that Passover is already upon us? Tonight starts this amazing weeklong feast to remember all of the things that Adam and I did to rescue the Israelites from enslavement in Egypt. It is also during this time that Jesus had his last supper, his last Seder meal with his disciples. It is at this moment when Jesus was agonizing in the garden. It is at this moment when Jesus was unjustly, arrested, tried, convicted, and executed on the cross. It is during Passover that our Lord rested on the sabbath in the tomb. And it is during this time of Passover, that our perfect Pasco lamb from the dead on the feast of fruits. What an amazing time it is to remember and honor and celebrate all that God has done for us. There’s so many things as a parent that we can do to capture the hearts of our children to learn the message of salvation through the Passover experience. These are some of my families favorites:
🐑 DIY Seder plates #seder
🐑 afikomen bags that you can color #afikomen #afikomencraft #craft
🐑 plague puppets #puppets #kidpuppets #play #playmatters
🐑 using a children’s book story during the retelling of the Exodus at the Seder meal
🐑 a hands on counting of the Omar
these are just some of the many things that you can do with your family to teach your children about what God has done so that they can come to a beautiful relationship with him.

🥖 ”Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.“
1 Corinthians 10:31 TLV
🍷 I just adore this verse because it reminds us that we are meant to put into our bodies, the word of God and his truths so that we can have eternal life. This verse has a lot of misuse… I have even misused this first. This verse is not talking just about physical food, but also about spiritual food. We are supposed to be at the feast of the Lord and eat his food not the food of idols. So on this #shabbat let’s fill our bodies with the #shabbatfeast of the bread and wine to remember all that our Messiah has done for us.

👟 ”Stand firm then! Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. Strap up your feet in readiness with the Good News of shalom.“
Ephesians 6:14-15 TLV
👟 this verse of the day is another example of what it means to be a witness to the world. We need to be ready with the good news of shalom, and be willing and able to share it with others. The gospel is not something that is supposed to be just for those who already know about it. We are supposed to be armed with the truth and go out into this world and proclaim it. Too many people today are afraid to proclaim the truth because they don’t want to offend anybody… But the truth of the matter is that the gospel is not a message that makes people feel good. It is divisive. It makes people uncomfortable. You may not be the most liked person in your work environment or neighborhood if you share the gospel, but we are called to share it no matter what. We are told it was going to make people uncomfortable and make people not necessarily like you. But it doesn’t matter. Do not cave to society pressures to be caring about other peoples “feelings” or cater to “their truth”. The truth of the gospel is what is important. Let the Lord work on their heart. #verseoftheday #armorofgodstudy #armorofgod #shalom #gospeltruth #imnotashamedofthegospel #proverbs31 #proverbs31mom #biblequotes #bibleverses #biblejunkjournal #christianthinkerssociety #christianbusinessnetworking #christianblogger #proverbs31wannabe
😯 I would’ve never thought that a Bible verse would be labeled as sensitive and graphic violent content. But today this is just what happened. One of my friends posted this Bible verse online and the meta-algorithm decided that it was inappropriate and violent. If you think that this is a one off situation… Think again. Christian Contant creators are being silenced. Christian Contant creators are being pushed away from the algorithms so that other people don’t discover their content. This is also happening to Jewish creators such as @challah.mom who has restricted access for her account on #instagram Whether you are a Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or atheist content creator who has no faith basis we should ALL be appalled at these blatant discriminations against creators who do not automatically agree with what the majority think. I thought social media was a place for people to express all of their views and a fun and creative space but apparently that is not the case. I will never stop posting my religious beliefs, and if I have to find someplace else to do so: I will when the time comes. @alliebstuckey I would love to hear your thoughts on this as well as someone who is a champion for truth on this volatile social platform. #censored #censorshipsucks #firstamendment #freedomofreligion #proverbs31 #proverbs31mom #proverbs31wannabe #shespeakstruth #instagram #facebook #discrimination #religiousliberty #notashamedofthegospel #shema #greatcomission
Tea 🍵 talk time! Over a year ago, I made this realization that I really do not have an understanding of the significance of half of the Bible. I knew the “famous” stories that we are told in Sunday school in the Old Testament like Daniel and the lions den for example, but yet there’s so much more to the old testament, then those types of stories. I was ignorant to what the Torah actually said, and I have come to realize that most gentile Christians have no clue about what Torah says, and why it is significant. Once I started looking at the Bible with a different perspective, my eyes were opened to the fact that these biblical holidays were never supposed to be stopped just because Messiah came. In actuality, Jesus is the fulfillment of these feasts, and most Christians are missing out on the beauty of these biblical holy days. I bring this up because just yesterday, a friend from church was talking about how their eyes have recently been open on this as well and how they felt alone in this journey because so many Christians are IGNORING the beauty of the Torah. I know this is a #hottake but our Messiah said he did not come to abolish Torah, but to fulfill it, and I feel like a lot of people have lost this most important statement made by Jesus. So I challenge you with this: look at the biblical holidays, and see where Jesus fills the gaps with these holy days. He has already fulfilled the spring holidays, and when he returns, he will fulfill the fall ones. Purim and Passover are coming up… I challenge you to start celebrating these holy days with great expectation, knowing that Jesus will be returning soon. What’s stopping you? #hottake #christian #teatime #bibleblogger #biblicalholidays #passoverseder #purim #graftedin #jesusiscoming #jewsforjesus #wakeupsleeper
🐑 ”The next day, John sees Yeshua coming to him and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!“
John 1:29 TLV
🐑This statement made by John is one that it absolutely ASTOUNDING! In essence, John is declaring that Jesus is the Messiah, our Passover lamb. There is so much context that we need to look at in this verse to have a full understanding of the significance of this title as Lamb of God. So many people today don’t have a great understanding of the #oldtestament and miss out on SOOOO MUCH because of their lack of understanding!!! In the #torah we read about how a lamb is used in many different sacrifices and rituals: the Passover lamb offering, sin offerings, guilt offerings, atonement offerings on Yom Kippur… the list goes on and on and if you are NOT familiar with these concepts I suggest and ask you to consider the fact that you can’t fully get Messiah’s message and mission without knowing the WHY behind it. Too many Christians nowadays dismiss the old testament as irrelevant: and I believe this is one of the biggest mistakes that we can do as Christians. It is arrogant to think that the Old Testament, which is the Word of God, is less significant because it happened before Messiah came. I have also heard many people say that we don’t really need to look at Leviticus or Deuteronomy or numbers as much as other books in the Bible, because Jesus fulfills the Law… but how can we know how to praise and honor the Lord when we don’t even know what He fulfilled? This has been a relatively recent revelation I had myself a year and a halfish ago and I felt the Spirit move in my heart this DESIRE to understand and love the words in the #torah I pray that this #verseoftheday moves your heart to dwell on the words found in the #oldtestament and that it opens your eyes to the fact that Jesus is in it all! #verseoftheday #lambofgod #passoverlamb #jeshuamessiah #readyourbible📖 #proverbs31wanna
🌺 ”Therefore be imitators of God, as dearly loved children; and walk in love, just as Messiah also loved us and gave Himself up for us as an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant aroma.“
Ephesians 5:1-2 TLV
🌺 A sweet fragrance. This is how we see the sacrifice of our Messiah is being described. This is a theme that we have seen throughout the Old Testament: sacrifices made to God that were pleasing to the Lord’s sense of smell. It’s only sacrifices that are given with a pure heart that the Lord finds sweet. And His Son gave Himself for all with a pure heart of joy and obedience. So here’s the question: are we praising Him for this sacrifice and imitating His pure heart gift? Are we producing sweet aromas for Adonai? Or are we letting the world influence us and souring ourselves? #verseoftheday #thursdaythoughts #proverbs31wannabe #sweetaroma #sacrificiallove #biblicalwomanhood #biblicalparenting #biblicalmarriage
