GANG MEMBER SHOT IN COURT'S PARKING LOT
Nassau, BAHAMAS- A reputed gang member was shot and wounded while leaving court on Wednesday.
Police believe that Raphael Neymour, a member of the Mad Ass gang, was ambushed by gang rivals as he walked to his car in the parking lot of the South Street Magistrates’ Complex.
Neymour was attending court for a gun case that was adjourned because his lawyer was absent.
The case concerns Neymour's arrest in downtown Nassau on March 28.
Police stopped Neymour's car and he allegedly ran. Officers arrested him following a brief chase and allegedly found a G***k 40 pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition in Neymour's possession.
He was released from prison last year after serving 15 years of a 20-year sentence for the fatal shooting of Huel Ferguson in the parking lot of the now-closed Cocktails and Dreams club.
Neymour initially faced a murder charge in the security guard's death. However, he was acquitted of murder and convicted of manslaughter by provocation.
This is not the first time a gang member was shot leaving court.
In April 2022, a member of the Grove Hot Ni**as was wounded after gunmen ambushed the car he was traveling in on Nassau Street.
The victim, Desmond Gilbert, had been released on bail for a gun case minutes before the shooting.

Nassau, BAHAMAS- Doctor Adrian Rolle is once again facing drug possession charges.
Police arrested the 54-year-old doctor on May 2 after they allegedly found 1.7 pounds of ma*****na while searching his home at Balmoral Villas.
He pleaded bot guilty to possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply and was granted $4,000 bail.
Dr Rolle returns to court in November for his trial.
This isn’t the first time that the controversial physician has been before the courts.
In 2019, Magistrate Samuel McKinney convicted Rolle of possession of almost seven ounces of ma*****na.
As a result, he was sentenced to probation for two years and ordered to perform community service.
Cops found the ma*****na after Rolle called them on his now ex-girlfriend Sky Holbert after she broke his car’s windows in a rage.
Once the officers arrived, Rolle asked them to arrest Holbert for property damage.
That’s when she snapped, “You is a p***y. And officer, y’all worrying about, he g*t plenty dope upstairs.”
Acting on Holbert’s tip, the officers found the ma*****na on Rolle’s kitchen counter.
What’s more, Rolle received no penalty for shooting a man in the legs.
He absolute discharge after he pleaded guilty to blasting Holbert’s baby daddy Shorn Clarke in the legs with a shotgun.

WOMAN ALLEGEDLY GROPED AT ALBANY WHITE PARTY
A woman is demanding answers after police have failed to take action against a man who allegedly groped her at a swanky New Year’s Party at the Albany Resort.
Diana and Philippe Gagnon were having a blast at the $1,000 per head Moulin Rouge-themed White Party on January 1 when a man wearing a dress groped Mrs. Gagnon’s butt while she was dancing with her husband.
The couple would later learn the identity of the crossdresser. He’s Spencer Charrington, the son of Albany senior partner Peter Charrington.
In defense of his wife, Mr. Gagnon says he shooed Spencer Charrington away—and after he persisted in invading the couple’s personal space, Mr. Gagnon slapped him.
What happened next, threw the couple’s life into a tailspin. First, Mr. Gagnon, who had been a member in good standing of the exclusive resort for a decade, was banned from the club.
Then, weeks later, his wife Diana, was asked to leave Albany while playing tennis with her friends by Albany’s Chief Operations Officer Damien Michelmore.
She was barred from Albany around the same time that the Gagnons refused to sign a release that would absolve Spencer Charrington of any liability concerning the incident.
Mr. Gagnon was last month arrested and charged with unlawfully causing harm to Spencer Charrington—a charge that he intends to defend at trial.
But Spencer, whose alleged actions provoked the slap, remains off the hook, although two women who say they saw Spencer’s unwanted touch provided the police with witness statements.
Spencer was arrested by police on April 4 and released from custody, pending further inquiries after he was questioned.
He denies indecently assaulting Mrs Gagnon and claims that he was “complimenting” her dress.
The Gagnons have made a complaint to the Police Corruption Unit about the failure of officers at the Western Police Station to bring charges.

Michael Fox Jr, the leader of the Fox Hill Outlaws gang, was ambushed by three masked gunmen after he pulled up to a home on Fleming Street around 7am.
Fox earned the name wheelchair after he was left paralyzed by a shooting on Ida Street in 2015.
His gang was feuding with the Mad Ass, Fox Hill Park Boys and Dirty South gangs.

Police allegedly caught Fox and three other men with a .45 pistol and 26 rounds of ammunition in 2021.
The case was dismissed for want of prosecution in 2023. However, the charges were reinstated this year.

‘Hitman’ Back In Jail On Attempted Murder Charge
An accused hitman out on bail awaiting trial for murder is back in custody following a failed murder attempt.
Janaldo Farrington, 34, was arrested on December 10 and charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.
Prosecutors say Farrington was at the dock on Eleuthera when he pointed a gun at Shervin Emmanuel and pulled the trigger.
Luckily for Emmanuel, the .38 revolver malfunctioned.
As a result, Emmanuel disarmed Farrington and turned the loaded gun over to the police.
Farrington didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
Bail was denied and he’s next scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
Farrington was on bail awaiting a retrial for the 2012 murder of banker Stephen Sherman.
Prosecutors say Sherman was killed in a hit outside his home in Yamacraw.
Farrington was convicted of his murder in 2014, but the conviction was overturned on appeal and retrial ordered.
