As if the health concerns weren't enough, there's another major issue facing the deployment of 5G, Security. I'm going to try to break it down for you, and then supply some videos to better detail the issue.

Currently, the US is lagging behind China in the development and deployment of 5G hardware. Why is this a problem? Competition is pushing wireless companies and governments to ramp up the deployment of 5G networks. Caught up in the US and China trade war, essential components were unavailable to US companies. Setting us back behind China.

You may have heard the name Huawei ( pronounced, wa way)
in the news with the arrest of their CIO. But who are they, and why are they a problem.

Huawei is China's largest wireless hardware company. They manufacture phones as well as wireless network hardware. Additionally, they are leading the 5G race. This fact is forcing governments, like the UK and Germany to turn to Huawei.

Rightfully so, the US fears the use of Chinese hardware. Why, because they would have the ability to create backdoors in their hardware that could be used as spy surveillance at the least, and much more destructive at it's worst.

Currently, Huawei and several smaller Chinese companies are blacklisted in the US. Now here's a few videos that go into greater detail. 🤓

Much like the Internet bubble, crypto is beginning to get a great deal of attention from investors looking to strike oil. Which coin concepts will win out over the long run will depend on the concept, positioning, and mass acceptance. At the moment, you have so many coins out there, most of which have no real value other than speculative value.

For me, I start with the mechanics of the idea. What’s under the hood? At the core, what are you looking at? The key is in the Blockchain. Understanding how the Blockchain is being used in the concept is ultimately where the true value of the coin will be realized. Bitcoin was the first, but it has real value, especially on the Dark Web where security and anonymity are critical.

Real-world applications will eventually win out, medical records, for example, is a great use of the technology. You could own your own medical records, safely, securely, and less costly than what we have today.

There’s some real money to be made here. Much like the Internet, smartphones, and Amazon, this is definitely a disruptive technology that will eventually change the way we do things. Do your homework, be careful about what you jump into, and you stand to make some serious gains. However, it’s a real gamble right now. Those with the ability to take the losses, can afford to be speculative, get in, take the risk early, and not get priced out. Good luck and happy hunting.
